A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Hi Everyone!

If anyone has grottobook/MYDATES - I have reported them to the Investigations & Enforcement Services Division  - The Insolvency Service. They have accepted the case to look into MYDATES.

If everyone who has been trying to contact them (and have been ignored!!) Reports these companies - perhaps they'll deep dive and help us retrieve our $ back... and shut them down!

Here's a link that will bring you right to the site!

Is it me you’re looking for?

I think Miss daisy said to do it, if you report to cork and limerick garda they log the crime number then take that to your bank as you are reporting fraud.

Haha lol. Does going to the Irish police work in forcing the bank to refund you?

I am extremely grateful for the help and time you spent on my complaints, both for the transactions I had with my regular bank and Revolut. Got back 150k in total and more on the way. Can absolutely certify that BettyBetty's method works so paying 25% after a successful chargeback was a no brainer for me

No,but it helps as banks over here ask if you have reported it to local authorities, also if you Cc the police into the emails sent to merchants then may prompt the merchants into refunding as alot of these merchants ignore emails .I have had 2 responses of merchants who ignored me for weeks on end, but as soon as I Cc in their local police they responded.

I have done - Cork said they will get back to me Limerick said I need to call them. I’m not too bothered about them acting on it, as I have crime references from Action fraud that I have supplied to bank. But Miss Daisy is correct it may prompt them to respond.

The main issue with the banks is still getting them to do the chargeback, as everyone knows that is key so if they won’t then you may get some joy with crime references, on mine Barclaycard Visa did incorrect MCC, Chase Mastercard won’t do I have done goods not received which is ongoing but I keep giving them little bits of further information because if they do challenge I want to able to defend it. I am hopefully they won’t defend it, I think Paul said usually if they don’t within 14 days then you are likely to win.

Hi mate, what’s the email to contact cork?

Anonymized825

Yes usually after 14 days you should be fine as the normal response time is 7-10 days with any chargeback raised so after 3 full business weeks if nothing it is fair to say your 80-90% safe

I’m on week 5 I think, deadline is 27th for mine so will message Chase on 28th. The frustrating thing with Chase is they use a system (can’t remember name) that means the 45 days is more like 60 due to live messaging and allowing 5 days a key stages for other responses
