A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Emailed the merchant auridigital (skinczar) who is ignoring me, anyone got any ideas on who else to contact? I’m also looking for the merchant albedo, any info would be great thanks.

Can't find a contact for Santeda, as for goldenbet, they pretty much said i'm liable for not reading their ToS as they're prohibited from offering their services to the UK, wouldn't help me at all, waiting for the ombudsman still as chase basically said it was gambling and they don't cover gambling per mastercard ToS even though the MCC wasn't gambling, it was gaming and digital goods. The FoS has been around a seven week wait so far, maybe a touch longer and they've not began the investigation proper, just said they will appoint an agent to my case when they have one free as they have an increased workload.

This is the issue which they won't understand. I can probably tell you word for the word the Copy and Paste email they will have sent you. They have terms and conditions that aren't legally enforceable - the onus is on THEM to prohibit gambling from jurisdictions where they aren't allowed to provide services, not on the player. They will never offer a refund - not one part of Santeda will. However, they cannot fight chargebacks much in the same way as the others here. It is absolutely pointless trying to get them to do anything. Go with the bank/FOS - it is the only chance of doing anything.

Raise it with the FOS - if you had the block in place at the time of the transactions and you can show all the payments to them then you should win.

You should be fine. You just need to state that the payments were made to XX Casino, you had a gambling block and that they have used transaction masking to get around the gambling block by operating a different MCC code. Send as much as you can to FOS.

The thing is with the bank gambling block on or off its just the same it does not block anyway

I think it’s a way of them not admitting to transaction laundering, I.e fraud!

Yep, but they key thing for the FOS would be if there was a gambling block in place it shows an intention to not gamble and have legitimate transactions for these blocked. They are far more likely to rule in your favour if it is in place.

Ok yip sort of thought so im not seeing a lot going to FOS now that is a good sign
