A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

So, I dont want to be a b*tch but the webpage I linked to is literally the first one that comes up If you Google CSskkinspro, still you have to ask for it here.

The contact form is not working, you ask If I can provide the exact e-mail -I found one in 2 minutes looking around their webpage.

If you cant even put in that limited time and effort yourself, well, then I dont see that you have any chances of succeeding with any chargeback.

After review, we have decided not to uphold your complaint and the details for why are below. With chargebacks for gambling transactions, we only have chargeback rights for when the funds are not credited into your gambling wallet. As such, we cannot raise these through the chargeback scheme. I appreciate you feel as you didn't give the card details to the merchant and no service was provided by them directly that you can raise a chargeback, however as you mentioned these are the payment companies that the casino uses, as such they will have been provided through the casino. I've raised this to the fraud team to review as if we were to look at the transactions as unauthorized by yourself which you mentioned, this could be classified as a scam. They have completed their review and found that we would not be looking to provide any refund as at no point would Chase have identified the merchant as a Crypto merchant. MasterCard have not recognized the merchant as a Crypto merchant which is reflected in the merchant category code. This is a code decided by MasterCard and the merchant, as we have no control over the Merchant Category Code we would not be able to provide a refund through this avenue either. You have mentioned that you have difficulty controlling your gambling spending and raised this with GamStop to put blocks in place with gambling merchants. This is not something we are made aware of and is directly communicated between GamStop and gambling merchants. This does not include all gambling merchants and would need to be raised with GamStop directly to find out if the casino used is included on their registered merchants. I appreciate this is not the outcome you wanted. Going forward, I would like to make you aware of our gambling control feature in the app where you will be able to block transactions for merchants that have the gambling merchant category code. I understand that in this instance the merchants used a different category code and our gambling block would not stop these, but we can report the merchants to MasterCard with evidence showing that they are providing alternative services than what their category code suggests. This will allow MasterCard to investigate this further and amend with the merchants. An alternative option for the merchants who use misleading category codes would be to disable your online transactions as this would block all online transactions. The final option we would have would be to close your Chase account if you feel none of these are able to support your needs or keep your funds secure.

Help please I don't know what to do now...

That is nonsense they are dancing around the matter in question with a load of over information about nothing ! you should be able to appeal the decision

Glad I'm not the only one, what steps do I take now with the bank and under what basis, simple goods not received...

They said because the merchants technically supplied the casino I did receive goods

You can appeal the decision for the complaint and someone else deals with it and did they have evidence you got casino chips ? if not try that but the incorrect merchant coding should be enough to do them

They don't have evidence but I stupidly told them I did as I relapsed.

They are not bothered about the incorrect MCC.

I have spoken to them just and basically now because donbet says their payment processor is wirecard AG and that's who I thought my payments were being processed by anything else would be classed as an unauthorised transaction.

I stated how do I know if pixeleum and finnart.io have got anything to do with donbet I can't be sure so those transactions are unauthorised

He got my point and just got to send some evidence across now because when I questioned donbet about this they banned me.

Ok well that sounds a bit better hopefully you get it sorted

Hopefully yes he has asked for a screenshot of donbets policy which states payment processor is wirecard AG as currently their policy and terms and conditions page is blank, any correspondence where they have admitted they don't know what payment processors they use and copy of transactions from the casino that doesn't state the merchant.

Luckily I have all these saved and documented.

So if people are struggling then check the casino's policy for their payment processor and anything different should warrent an unauthorised transaction.

Ok thanks good tip !

Just trying to help as much as possible, according to the FCA you should report an unauthorised transaction and get a refund the next working day so fingers crossed after he's received all my evidence tomorrow that can be processed.
