A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Nothing sorry, I have not had any luck direct with any of mine all pursued via bank.

Has anyone been able to determine the payment processor linked to payments showing as going to EDUNTAGE? I thought it was Dropayment but not 100% sure

All but ignored all of the reasons set out and said the merchant has not done anything wrong. Acknowledged the FOS decision reference but said can’t comment on individual cases

How did you argue it to begin with? Seems some get success with saying not authorised this exact merchant and others getting success with goods not received.

I think the FOS will decide in your favour.

They haven’t looked at my complaint yet but basically sent an initial rejection of chargeback saying gambling related, and VISA don’t cover that. Which is actually incorrect but that’s a separate argument for complaints.

I’ve took Monzo to the cleaners now, I closed all my accounts with them. I’ve complained with the sole intention to go to the FOS.

it’s an absolute joke that despite how legally rigorous this country portrays to be, that issues like these are just swept under the carpet.

It’s the inconsistency, I get that there will some different decisions, however most of us have the same problem and some seem to be getting told yes refund others no and for a multitude of reasons.

The banks should be charging back as it’s a VISA and Mastercard TOS not the banks own.

I’ve had zero issue with visa, I’m actually choosing to bank with those who offer visa debit cards because I’ve felt their much more on it when it comes to these things, Mastercard are fucking useless

Chase is Mastercard and yes they have been awkward/clueless. I think mine were that low value with them they just did it to stop a complaint.

Barclaycard are VISA so hopefully the complaints team sees sense and authorise it.

My Visa and Mastercard Credit cards were successfully chargedback, however I'm getting stuck with my Mastercard debit.

The banks need auditing as in no way do they protect the consumer.

Yeah, I agree. Any other business their first thoughts are to protect their customerss first. Why is this different with banks?

Consumer Duty is going to hit hard when they do start getting audited.

Im hopeful with Barclaycard that they have now had a complaint so a specialist will look at it. Raised 7 disputes, one rejected and no updates on the others despite it being done on the same day.

Surely the FOS will be getting fed up with all the complaints too

I’ve absolutely rinsed Jokabet on trustpilot now so I’m hoping that they’ll pay up my money
