A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

I have emailed them quite a few times and no replies (including junk) - what did you say to them to get the refunds?

The usual bullshit haha. "These transactions have used a masked mcc code to bypass my gamble block on my revolut account". They were refunded the following morning. Every other dispute ive tried on revolut just gets declined😒 now im hoping my fos senior Ombudsman upholds my case against monzo.

I replied but its off for review. "These transactions were masked using an incorrect mcc code to hide gambling transactions as entertainment/services/IT services, to bypass my gamble block on revolut. The funds landed in an offshore illegal casino instead of where the merchant states its going" basically I use this every time I raise a new dispute. Often change it up a little bit but that's the basics.

Really?

Does the answer refer to all three? I've also read that Yapily supposedly pays.

Have you also tried contacting the ombudsman?

I also read that Bfin is currently taking action against them because of a leak revealing their collaboration with illegal casinos. Therefore, they usually refund payments to avoid further problems.

The usual name concealment/KYC/ I'm just lucky that in Austria that's generally illegal, and I mentioned that.

Was the bank revolut? If yes could you send the refunds landing so I can argue why they cant dispute mine.

Hey Guys,

I used to work in compliance with offshore casinos and payment providers.

If you’re having trouble with a blocked withdrawal, ignored refund, closed account, money being held without a clear reason, or a casino that may not be licensed in your country, feel free to send me in DM the basics: casino/provider name, amount, dates, and any evidence. I’ll take a look and tell you honestly if there’s a realistic way to push for your money back.

No false promises, just a proper review and practical advice if there’s a case.
