So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Ive mentioned gambling everytime with monzo. Had several refunds from some merchants but monzo have been useless so I've went to the ombudsman and complained.

Hi, I have had the same experience as you with Monzo, they are beyond useless!! I had been upfront with Monzo and asked for them to chargeback all of them as loads and would take me forever but they refused.

I have also gone to the Ombudsman. Please can I ask have you submitted chargebacks then complained? My complaint is with the FOS but don't want to rock the boat and try to chargeback for each transaction whilst it's ongoing.

Its a joke you cant dispute more than one transaction at a time. Have any refunded once you submit a chargeback? Alot of my merchants have. Just under 7k back. Yeah I'm now at final stage of ombudsman. Waiting on senior Ombudsman decision. Fingers crossed for my outstanding 14k. I haven't submitted any new chargebacks in past 2 weeks. My account is being closed on 13th of august. Fk Monzo

I haven't attempted any chargebacks, left it in the hands of the FOS when Monzo refused to do it, but reading your posts made me wonder if I should be trying to do it (would take forever!) or just leave it with the FOS. I have around the same amount unfortunately! Also have an irresponsible lending complaint with them too which is being escalated to the senior ombudsman. The chargebacks one is still with the first stage investigator but guessing yours wasn't successful if escalated.

100% fire off chargebacks. As soon as you do it sends a signal to the merchants accounts and a few days later refunds appear. Ive been doing it since march. Monzo will close your account so make sure you have a back up account to transfer refunds across. Yeah investigator didn't uphold. they haven’t said but they are closing my account at the end of July with no reason. My account is blocked, so can’t use my available funds, made multiple disputes for few different merchants and they have all refunded me. Just annoying as i have a load for PixelPay Solutions Ltd but i cant dispute now as cant access online banking, the merchant is just sending me generic responses back

If that’s the case, it’s best to reach out to your bank and request a chargeback. We follow the official Visa and MasterCard processes, and in such cases, we don’t hold the funds.
