A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

No I haven't made any chargebacks yet as can't find the merchants to prove I've emailed them! I have transactions with Revolut and Chase, Chase rejected when I was honest about wrong MCC, and I dont know what to do with Revolut.

I would say so yes and also you can still get your bank closed for too many disputes, and a cifas market it’s called misuse of facility, so I would definetley just be honest and take your chances

If you win your disputes you are proven right, if banks decide to close your account or place a cifa on you take them to your Ombudsman and court if necessary. Banks especially revolut don't raise them in the first place even though they know they will win, and hide behind obscure card rules without telling the cardholder specifically what rule it is that they are applying.

Also dont forget Revolut is a primary deposit method for many of these fraudulent casinos operating in the UK. And also Revolut will be the acquiring bank in many of these instances.

The fraud occurs by the merchant on your bank statement, hence why they don't respond when raised. Or provide false information. It's interesting that the banks don't put fraud markers on these merchants even after successful fraud chargebacks, and still continuously process payments to them after the fact.

Rodcah, I'm almost 99% sure it's https://payadmit.com/. My bank rejected my dispute because they claim they received the money but aren't the final merchant. Something similar happened to me with Payver. So everything points to it being Payadmit. I wrote to them today to see if I get lucky and they reply.

Is it a Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card?

Do you have a gambling block turned on so you can't gamble?

Credit card; automatic chargeback as gambling using credit cards is illegal in UK.

Visa Debit Card; if you have a gambling block on your card, these transactions fulfill the criteria for a 12.7 chargeback.

Mastercard Debit Card; You're screwed unless you can find a sympathetic member of staff on your banks dispute team.

If your bank don't comply and raise a chargeback, make a complaint and then take it to the Ombudsman.

There's a metric fuckton of info in this thread, but it's incredibly fragmented. There's no TLDR so you'll need to piece it all together yourself.

12.7 invalid data will not work as they have said the transactions don’t have the gambling MCC code. That’s how the banks shift the blame onto us. Don’t wait you energy trying to do this, it won’t work, unless you’re with Barclays, who still raised the chargeback for this reason for me.
