A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

No - Visa and Mastercard prioritize the chargeback guide over EU law, therefore nothing will change.

However, it remains to be seen how the guide will be adapted.

Even if that were the case, it would be difficult to prove what was really agreed upon "in private" 😉

You usually have to approve the transaction on the bank app though with the merchants name on?

yes but the transaction that I approved was not the transaction that went through from my bank

for example

I deposited 20€ to a casino

but the casino allowed another company XY to take that money

isn't that clear fraud??

Hi, just wanted to check if you’re ok to share them?

This is the statement i use when submitting chargebacks, had no andwers back yet

I believed I was depositing funds with a legitimate online casino licensed to operate in the UK. I have since discovered that this operator does not hold a valid UK Gambling Commission licence and is not legally authorised to accept deposits from UK customers under the Gambling Act 2005.

The transactions do not appear under the casino’s name but were processed through unrelated third-party merchants, with no transparent link to gambling and incorrect MCC i did not authorise payments to these merchants. This practice is misleading, appears designed to disguise gambling transactions, and breaches Mastercard rules on accurate merchant identification misrepresentation (code4853) and transaction laundering.

Had I known the casino was unlicensed and disguising transactions, I would not have authorised these payments.

Have you provided evidence of the deposit out of your account and credits in your casino account?

If denying it what are they saying the transactions are for?

i dont know what is going on here guys but i've got no issues with payouts so far

NELLY&KELLY say the do no manual refund , should open chargeback and they will accept it ..

Revolut rejected , no dispute rights so here no chance anymore
