Question about Gambling websites with Curaçao license using incorrect Merchant Category code (page 1,031)

Hi Everyone......

I'm trying to track down a couple of older transactions. They are for OPTTRX and SMMTRX. I've got as far as working out that these are crypto token trades, so we're looking at the usual suspects.....

On my other account that blocked SMMTRX, there is the catergory marker E0000572.....

Does anyone know who that is?

What’s a chargeback and how does it work?

A chargeback is the process of reversing a debit; by which the funds return to your account once the dispute has been resolved in your favour.

Once a chargeback is raised, the merchant will have 30 days to refute the claim by providing supporting evidence. In the event they do so, the dispute will be continued. If not, the case will be resolved in the cardholder’s favour.

I was mastercard so it is 45 days then I got paid about the 60 day mark you need to chase up though to get it quicker

I asked transactworld and they said it’s not as they are wexslide

WEXIGN LTD or

WEX SOFTWARE LTD (16185266). 

That’s who I think wexhype are. But no reply’s

Was that a VISA 12.7 chargeback or a Mastercard Good and Services? If the latter, what goods did you find out the sell?

I thought Wexhype was Wesley London - is this not the case?

Three payments of €100 each, they only refunded €200, €100 still not refunded, strange.

Transactworld came back to me and said they recognise the transactions but were over the 180 days so "can't refund"

So far had successful chargebacks from Basi via and Lytbyt

Probig and Cobea I raised on 23rd Oct so they still have time to make up an argument

got tonnes of other small ones that I'm going to concentrate on now.

had no luck with any emails, chargebacks with Revolut have been fairly successful which is a surprise according to most on here

So the criminals admitted to processing the transaction, but the excuse is the deadline? Press them, and if they don't return it, report them to all authorities.

I called Revolut and had them raise it over the phone (found that a lot better than doing it myself) - I had evidence of a big sum in my account and then having my account closed down.

I was honest and said it was gaming but also mentioned I have the gambling block on and they manipulated me and then to get around it but fraudulently marking the MCCs

very surprised they raised and accepted as many as they did, I had this issue with another casino about a year ago (fell into the trap of this awful addiction again recently) - previous Revolut hardly raised any
