I understand you need help, but even as a gambling addict, you must show some clear intention to keep yourself protected. I know this is hard, but you made a mistake and we are trying to help you understand that and also close your account in the proper way.
What you believe you know is far away from rules and logic. Please keep your feelings aside for a moment and try to close your account as instructed. Include Tomas in the copy.
We can discuss whatever you want after you achieve your account being closed as self-excluded due to gambling addiction. You have all the information; try it, please.
Hello, that is excellent. I've been thinking about your situation all week because I understand how frustration can prevent us from thinking critically and even paralyze us. You did it in the end, which is great. Now I recommend that you follow up with Tomas through the complaint. Surely he will explain the remaining details of your complaint.
How do you feel, by the way? Would you say you would appreciate more professional assistance to perhaps take a break from gambling? Let me know if you'd like to talk, please.
Tomas will explain the details in the complaint. However, generally speaking, I would not be very optimistic. We believe it is fair to ask for a refund after a clear self-exclusion request was submitted to begin with.
I know it’s natural to hope for some kind of refund when everything feels unfair or out of control. Many people in a similar situation go through that phase. But from our experience, real change doesn’t come from trying to undo losses, it comes from focusing on what you can control from now on.
Even if money was lost, you can still stop this from getting worse. You have the power to protect yourself and we’re here to help you do that.
Be strong, please.
It really sounds like you’re ready to make a change, and that’s not easy, especially when things feel overwhelming.
To support you better, I’d like to suggest a few helpful steps:
1) We created a free tool to help people take control and block access to gambling. It’s part of our global initiative and works regardless of the country you live in.
Casino Guru Global Self-Exclusion Tool 👈 – You can use it now if you’re ready.
2) Responsible Gambling Help 👈 This page contains practical information on how gambling addiction works, what typically causes it, and what can help. You don’t need to read it all at once; even one or two sections might help you better understand your situation.
3) Blocking tools 👈 If you’re using a computer or phone to gamble, there are tools and apps that can block access to gambling websites.
You’ve already made a big first step by talking openly about the problem and closing your account. If you feel like talking again or just need someone to support you through the next steps, let me know. You’re not alone in this.
Well, I'm very confused now. The point was to close your account in the first place so you could not lose more money. I understand the account has been closed. That's good news. However, refunds are completely another matter. You will learn more in the complaint. 🙏
