My thoughts - It is actually such a good idea and would be a great tool to use in theory.
Myself as an example: I like to track my steps, I find my location history interesting and reminiscent, I like to save a heap of useless organisational tools, that only clog my storage.
Ask me to track my debts and expenses and I'll give you too many reasons but also, I simply don't want to. Yes, I know I should. Yes, I know I need to. It's not something I've been able to make stick in my 37 yrs.
I've tried setting up the spreadsheets, creating the lists, tracking the expense. It either lasts just the initial set up, or put on a forgotten to do list.
I think I'd try it out, I'd set it up but if I don't like the figures that I see I think it's probable I wouldn't make a habit of tracking the stats and only randomly return sporadically.
Yes I gamble a little sometimes when I know I probably shouldn't, but I'm not in debt from gambling. There's been times I've gone overboard, but it's not a regular issue. I've had a fair share of winnings withdrawals too.
I'll bury the very thing blatantly telling me I probably shouldn't on the times I can make it work.
I feel sure this is relatable to some..
