The competition is over! Thank you all for joining. We're also very thankful for the feedback you shared in this thread and we're happy the Casino Guru community was willing to help to this research that goes even beyond gambling. I know some of the questions in the survey were tricky and you really needed to spend some time on it. Here are the lucky winners of the $50 Amazon US vouchers: cj103738 | joshaye | michaelbpta | artuurio | Sadboichef17 | GlenvilleK You will be contacted on your email by the end of this week. You can watch the draw recording here:

My opinion is its pretty good tool to look at. Might bring you to reality.. but when your developing a problem you make excuses or try to validate that you don't need anything. That you have it under control. . But I think if you catch the habit early enough you'll see yourself falling. This will help i believe

Hello!

Right to the point, I'd say. Such valuable feedback is what we were looking for. Much appreciated!

This tool would be a valuable asset for someone like me who needs to clearly see numbers, data, trends, etc., before, during, or after im gambling. It sheds light on so many aspects of your play and could help bring certain parts of it into focus making you a more disciplined and accomplished player.

Good day to you!

Your opinion certainly made the day brighter. I'm quite surprised to see just very positive responses. I would like to say that any honest opinion is valued, of course. 🙂

In any case, thank you for being part of this!

This digital tool is an excellent resource for tracking gambling habits. The clear 'Summary' dashboard and visual spending trends offer great insight, while features like 'Your spending,' 'You won,' and 'Budget' are highly effective for promoting awareness and responsible behavior. A truly valuable and user-friendly tool.

Hello,

wonderful to hear that. You are welcome to add your code; I believe you have earned the opportunity to participate in the raffle. Just saying. 🙂

No worries my friend...☺️

Im sure the tool would be useful for people who have trouble following their finances or spendings but the biggest challange in my opinion would be that the people would actually use the tool. Personally I would not use the tool because I have my spendings and limits under control and I follow them anyway.

Hello!

Undoubtedly, that makes sense. Obviously not everyone actually needs to be helped, and that's good. Thank you for participating and supporting those who sometimes might need a bit of assistance.

Offering a prize draw to participate might create a certain bias in your study group ,just a thought?

Hello.

We asked ourselves the very same question but since the vouchers are in no relation to the answers provided in the survey, it has been decided that it is not very likely, not to mention that:

"Ethics for this study was approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) of The University of Sydney [2024_HE000747] according to the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007)."

Thank you for giving me a chance to address this perspective.

I can see this being very helpful for some players

Hey and thank you!

Are you a fan of using similar ways to, let's say, monitor your spending? Or does it simply appear to be beneficial to others? I'm only curious. 🙂

My unique code: M029

Seeing the tracker that shows how much you've spent/gambled alone is enough to make ne want to use the app and may or may not deter me from gambling altogether!

Yes I see how others would find these ways beneficial..

I should really practice what I preach, but atm I don’t.

I am fully aware of my spending at casino, but don’t feel I’m in control of it.

Funny you said that, because I think I had it quite the same way, at least in my head. I always felt I was aware of my spending, but a little part of me never wanted to give it a more detailed view because that would be regulation and responsible thinking, and perhaps a bit of surprise, while the whole playing was supposed to be just relaxing and positive in the first place.

Not the best example for the others, I admit that...

Whatever suits you, thank you for your honesty. I hope we all agree that the main idea is to support an alternative method for players to feel safer and that's it, basically.

You nailed it.
