The Receipts Don't Lie Bets.io: Where Withdrawals Become Disappearances

The $15,385 Casino Guru case isn't a technical glitch—it's a receipt for professional theft. Bets.io didn't just keep the money; they played dead. They seized KYC documents, locked the account, and when a reputable mediator came calling, they didn't refuse—they vanished. That's not customer support. That's scamming with a corporate logo.

This isn't an isolated incident. A Bitcointalk thread details a $14K confiscation: a player deposited 200K) "Gold Wheel" incident. The wheel lands on the big prize, the player has video proof, and the payout comes as a pittance in USDT. Whether it's manipulation or malicious interpretation of terms, the result is identical: the scammers fleece the player and keep the gold.

But here's where the theft becomes systemic: the corporate shell game.

Bets.io currently claims to be operated by TESSERA LIMITED S.R.L. in Costa Rica—a jurisdiction chosen specifically to hide from accountability. But look at the history. In 2021, Alpha Affiliates, led by Boris Pashnev and Roman Bespalov, explicitly stated they bought and owned Bets.io. Bespalov moved directly from head of affiliates at Bets.io to Alpha. The personnel and operational lineage is documented. So, what happened between Alpha's public ownership and the current TESSERA structure? Who are the beneficial owners of TESSERA? Why did the operator change to a Costa Rican entity while the same key players and the same network of brands (1Red, Loki, Spinch, 50Crowns) remain under the TESSERA/SPINTERA umbrella?

This isn't just a change of address. It's a deliberate asset shift. By moving behind a Costa Rican SRL, these thieves have insulated themselves from jurisdictional accountability. The 55 complaints, the 18,170 black points, and the "Very Low" safety index on Casino Guru aren't just stats—they're the receipts proving these guys are running a con.

Bets.io, backed by the Alpha/TESSERA syndicate, has built a reputation on confiscation over conversation. They take your deposit, rig or reinterpret the game, and when you complain, they don't just deny—they disappear into a corporate veil. Who actually owns TESSERA? The paper trail suggests it's the same grifters who ran Alpha. If so, this isn't a case of bad luck. It's a proven business model: take the money, close the account, hide behind a shell company, and let the complaints pile up. Because with 55 cases and counting, they don't need to pay you back. They just need to outlast you.

The $15K case is the tip of the iceberg. The real story is the $200K+ in alleged thefts, the corporate whodunit, and the deliberate use of legal opacity to steal with impunity. Bets.io isn't just a casino. It's a theft engine. And the owners are watching.

Hello Charles.

Obviously something from your perspective is not correct. I do not fully understand the nature of the theft, which appears to be somehow related to the license switch or other administrative information. What I know is that Curacao, the previous licensing authority, is not any better than the current AOFA. Many casinos have switched this way because Curacao LOK did not provide a clear and straightforward setup. Thus, the operators chose newly formed licenses. Its evolution is based on the political changes in gambling laws in the land of Curacao. From the disputers' perspective (meaning players actually playing in the casino), it is the same piece of paper. What, in my opinion, matters the most is how the casino handles provable players' disputes.

Did you experience anything related to unpaid winnings on your end, please? If so, please lodge an official complaint with us and give us a chance to understand what's wrong in your specific case.

Honestly, theoretical whistle-blowing about the owner or malicious practices across the internet sounds very cool but has never helped a concrete player with a concrete complaint, as far as we have witnessed thus far.

The $15,385 dispute with Bets.io began as a personal matter, but as we dug deeper, more questions emerged about the company operating behind the platform.

"Bets.io accepted my KYC, let me use the platform, and then shut down my account while my funds were still being held. I brought the issue to Casino Guru, hoping an independent mediator could help resolve it. Instead, I was left without a clear reason for why my money was being withheld or any satisfactory outcome to the dispute."

That prompted us to examine other reported cases.

We came across a Bitcointalk case involving a player who reportedly deposited $20,000 USDC, received roughly $6,000 back, and claims that approximately $14,000 was confiscated without sufficient evidence being provided to justify the decision.

There is also the reported 3 BTC "Gold Wheel" dispute, in which a player claims the wheel landed on a significantly larger prize and that they had video evidence, yet only received a relatively small USDT payout.

We cannot independently verify every detail of these cases, but encountering multiple substantial disputes led me to look beyond individual complaints and investigate the corporate connections surrounding Bets.io.

One name that stood out was Roman Bespalov.

Publicly available professional-history information reportedly shows Bespalov working with Alpha Affiliates in 2021, later joining Bets.io as Acting Head of Affiliates from December 2023 to April 2024, and then returning to Alpha, where he became Team Lead and later Head of Affiliates.

That sequence immediately raised questions for me:

Alpha → Bespalov → Bets.io → Bespalov → Alpha.

On its own, this does not prove that Alpha controlled every aspect of Bets.io or that Bespalov was involved in any player's confiscation. But it is a connection I believe deserves scrutiny, particularly because Alpha had previously been publicly linked to ownership of Bets.io.

There is another unanswered question: what happened between those earlier Alpha ownership claims and the current TESSERA LIMITED S.R.L. structure in Costa Rica?

Who ultimately owns TESSERA? What is its relationship with Alpha Affiliates? And how are the related brands and personnel connected?

These aren't accusations we expect people to simply accept without evidence. They are questions we believe Bets.io and the entities behind it should be willing to answer.

For me, this goes beyond my $15,385.

I am still waiting for a clear explanation of why my funds were withheld. And after finding other reported disputes and the apparent Alpha/Bets.io personnel connection, I think potential players deserve to understand who is actually behind the platform and who is accountable when something goes wrong.

If Bets.io believes my funds were withheld correctly, I want to know the specific reason, the applicable terms, and the evidence supporting the decision.

We are not asking for speculation. I am asking for answers.

I'd like to add a few points, since it feels more like talking to an AI that made a statement rather than to a person.

In any case, if your winnings are stuck in a casino, we, for example, do not need anything other than a clear complaint request to become involved. Is this feature perhaps of any interest?

As far as I can tell, no request was made on our website, and that's a bit confusing, since from your posts it looks like you complained, while you did not.

However despite the owner or affiliate, the casino review looks like a fair warning: https://casino.guru/bets-io-casino-review 👈

The AOFA license usually provides little support for players, so I really understand looking for other roads would seem helpful.

What started as my $15,385 dispute with Bets.io turned into a much wider set of questions about the company behind the platform. Bets.io accepted my KYC, allowed me to use the platform, and then closed my account while my funds remained withheld. I took the matter to Casino Guru, hoping an independent mediator could help, but I was left without a clear explanation for why my money was being held or a satisfactory resolution.  https://casino.guru/forum/complaints-discussion/bets-io-scam-stole-usd15-384/3?utm_medium=email&utm_source=system&utm_campaign=forum&utm_term=26-09-2026#post-291369

Hello, May I ask you to read my previous response and keep further communication in this thread?

I suggest we approach this situation in a cooperative manner, for that, though, I could really use your help.

Thank you in advance.
