Hi there!

If you encounter any problems associated with your country and its restrictions, make haste to submit a complaint, and I mean it.

We believe a fair approach should always be maintained. Quoting from the Casino Guru Fair Gambling Codex:

All casinos accept players from certain countries only, with the rest of the countries being 'restricted'. This means that players from these restricted countries are not allowed to open an account and play in the casino. This is the same for all gambling sites, but what differs is how casinos deal with players from restricted countries.

The casino's point of view

Many casinos only state the restricted countries in their T&Cs, so it's the responsibility of players to check whether they are allowed to play at them or not.

Whenever someone from a restricted country registers, these casinos allow them to create an account, but only let them know about the restriction when they want to make a withdrawal. As long as a player is losing, the casino is OK with it, but as soon as the player wins and wants to withdraw money, they use the 'restricted countries' rule to decline the withdrawal and block the player's account.

This is, of course, extremely unfair, as players might register without knowing about the restrictions, and casinos are taking advantage of their mistake, often knowingly and intentionally.

The player's point of view

If a player is able to access the casino's website, open the registration form, create an account, deposit and play, it's understandable that they assume that they are allowed to play at this casino.

Some experienced or careful players might read the T&Cs and find out that their country is restricted, but these players are definitely in the minority.

Our position

It is not acceptable to let players gamble if a casino knows that they are from a restricted country and if the casino plans to refer to the rule about restricted countries whenever a player requests their first withdrawal. This is completely against the rules of fair play, as the casino is knowingly letting a player wager money without a chance to actually win something in return.

Many casinos claim that this is difficult or impossible to implement into their systems, but it is simply about comparing the player's country of residence with the list of restricted or allowed countries; therefore, we do not consider it to be that difficult on a technological level.

Our recommendations for casinos

The right thing to do is to check for restricted countries during the account creation process, and to not allow players from restricted countries to register and play. If the casino knows about restricted countries and also knows the player's country of residence, it's not a big issue to enforce this rule.

If the casino allows a player from a restricted country to play because it hasn't implemented this check, it should accept that it was the casino's mistake and pay out all winnings to the player despite the fact that they shouldn't have been allowed to play in the first place, provided that the player hasn't done anything else that's against the rules.

Well, I hope those are just unnecessary worries. On the other hand, the very low safety index of this casino isn't very convincing πŸ™: https://casino.guru/seven-casino-review#tab=js-tab-reputation

May I ask whether you had tried to get familiar with the casino before you made the deposit?

Such sites need to be avoided. πŸ™ I pray for positive news!

They paid out my first withdrawal!

Still got a couple of thousand waiting to withdrawal but they paid out my first withdrawal sum, which was 1,000 EUR. They gave me Β£836, which is around Β£40 less than the exchange rate, but I'm just relieved they aren't a massive scam.

I won't be using the casino again once I get all my money, far too much stress and dodgy terms and conditions.

I'll update again whether I get the rest of my money.

Great news, I'm glad you got at least some of your wins because it's a bit reassuring. I wonder if you will get another part and if the casino will pay out everything.

As for your attitude and that you won't play in this casino anymore, I totally understand you because I would have done the same. If you want to stress yourself out, it's not worth it and you'd better find another casino.

Anyway, I will wait for your update and I firmly believe that all the money you are waiting for will eventually come to you.

Good luck ☘️

I have also won some money on this site. 6000 euro to be exact. I only realised they reject people from the UK after reading some reviews which is strange because you sign up with a UK address. I have fully verified and requested withdrawals. Waiting on them being approved now so we will see how it goes and whether they are legitimate.

Hello, so if you successfully verified and also everything was alright then we will see if they pay you. Did you play with some bonus ?

However, if you have some issues with withdrawal just let me know and we will try to help you. But I have to also mention that we give 14 days to casino to resolve whole process.

Fingers crossed. 🀞

When exactly have you requested your withdrawal, actually? I haven't come across this information yet.

I requested it on 11th April at 1pm and it still not authorised yet. Given them the benefit of doubt as it has been the weekend. Hoping to hear back today now though.

It is just a few days, actually, then. Have you had any successful withdrawal there before? I am a bit skeptical, to tell you the truth, especially when I see it's Safety Index and an unverifiable license, you know.πŸ€”πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Please keep us informed about any updates, and I will really keep my fingers crossed here for you.🀞

Update - I have just received confirmation that my withdrawals will not go through as I am based in the UK and they will refund my deposits within 14 days. They state that this should have been obvious because the currency they use is in Euros and quote their terms and conditions.

It is very frustrating because I doubt they refund money to people from the UK who lost money on their website.

Further, when you sign up, there is an option to put the UK as the location where you are from. Why would they have that feature? If say that was not there I would have known that you can't gamble there if from the UK. It is just a scam really. I put my address in as well and they verified me.

Very gutted. The one time I win big and its on a scam site. I could have won that money elsewhere. I just googled online casino and this one was recommended.

Not sure what to do now. I could complain but my deposits amount you Β£1150 so I want that back at least. But then I won 10.5k in total (in euros).

This is my response to them.

Hi,

When I signed up to your website, there is an option to put the United Kingdom as an option as to the location I am from (which I did). Why do you have this feature if you do not allow players from the UK. Surely this provides a false image that customers from the UK can sign up.

Further, do you refund players from the UK who have lost money at your casino? I was verified without issue using a UK address? It simply appears that you are not paying out because I won money.

I will await my refunded deposits totaling Β£1150 but I also want to complain. Please confirm your licensor and provide an email address for my complaint.

I also confirm that I will be writing to various outlets if my winnings are not provided to me. I have already started this process.

Thanks

This was there response:

Hope this email finds you well.

During registration, you have accepted all terms of use that prohibit UK players and unfortunately, we cannot influence your decisions but in such cases, personal responsibility is the most important.

Unfortunately, we can refund your deposits and in the next 14 working days it will be on your account.

We are sorry for this situation and wish you all the best in the future.

Best regards,

Tom

Can see some deposits already coming back into my bank so they have actioned that. Just disappointing, I won that money fair and square. So underhanded of them.

Hello. I totally understand your frustration and disappointment. We believe that every casino should have it implemented in their software whenever players from some country is restricted to register and to play there. Unfortunately there is nothing much you can do about it, especially now when they offered you to pay your deposits back. Which is the right thing to do in such cases. Please always read the terms in every casino, just to avoid this kind of issues. Keep us informed whether you'll receive the whole amount of your deposits, please.

I think I might have got my whole deposit back now.

Arcade150

So you got an update ? Did you get all your deposits back if I understand correctly ?

Anyway, as Romi said, it's important to always read the basic information to avoid similar problems that could arise because I believe that not all casinos would be lenient and refund your deposits.

So in the future be sure to watch out for such situations. πŸ™‚

Yeah I got them all back. I am still complaining but doubt I will get anywhere. Tough lesson learnt. Just unlucky that it was my best win ever in like 10 years. Typical. Anyone from the UK.should not gamble on that site.

On the one hand I'm happy and on the other hand I'm sad that you lost your wins. It would be best if there was a system to prevent players from registering in casinos where their country is not allowed to avoid such situations.

However, in many cases the casino will only find this out at the time of withdrawal, which is usually not a good thing for the players. I would probably only play in casinos licensed in my country to prevent such things from happening and thus eliminate such inconveniences. πŸ˜₯

Hello everyone, I was really happy at the beginning. I won over €90,000 at Seven Casino with Live Poker (Evolution). Now that I'm reading all this, I feel sick. They've already paid me the first €1,000... I'll keep playing every day with small stakes so that they can't accuse me of inactivity. Hopefully I get the money...
