I can tell you that everyone is now waiting for the ECJ until it has to speak correctly again, even though the situation has already been ruled on by the ECJ for years, only last year. There are already executions underway in the Maltese courts. But since the Maltese government has introduced a new law to protect casinos, which is contrary to EU law, as all lawyers say and the ECJ has already ruled against casinos more than once, the Maltese courts have asked the ECJ questions . Until then, all executions against the casinos will rest there. However, the casinos had to provide security in the court. So the money will be safe for consumers if the EU Court of Justice classifies the new Maltese law as contrary to EU law and then initiates infringement proceedings against Malta.
