Oh yes, something has happened. Ficico is apparently preparing. Mr. Gre** isn't paying, Interwett** has recently been ignoring rulings from Austria, so something is clearly going on. This was probably planned, and we keep thinking euphorically that it will somehow work out, but the reality is that the entire EU is a joke and nothing works.

Actually, from the beginning we were all just extras in an unplayed plan that might work out, and they made the money and we got some back.

It was never as clear as the law firms always presented it to us, and that's exactly the problem with the whole thing. Now more and more people are suing, and the casinos are basically running away because there aren't even offices in Malta in some places, and they're not releasing assets for seizure.

On the other hand, and this is only fair, we can be glad that we can sue to recover our losses. Personally, I just want to be able to close this chapter by 2026, even though I think that will happen no earlier than 2027. I suspect that for many who already won at the Regional Court and whose cases have now been suspended at the Higher Regional Court, the appeals (provided no serious errors were made in the Regional Court proceedings) will be quickly rejected!

Austria was years ahead of Germany with its lawsuits and judgments.

Some people have had Supreme Court rulings and enforcement orders valid throughout the EU for years, valid for 30 years, and no one has seen a penny. At least, I'm not aware of a single positive report of the full amount being collected. There's only one report that a partial payment was collected, and then Mr. Gre** terminated the payment service provider, and that's all we know...

So, I think even if the appeal is rejected, it takes forever. You'll have to go through the legal process in Malta before you even get a judgment. It'll take at least five years, and by then they might all be gone. I hope I'm wrong, but I've been waiting for almost five years now, and it's practically hopeless. The law firms aren't even giving me any feedback or information anymore.

I'm using the same procedure at PokerStars. It's taking too long for me. But things are looking good at the moment. If bill55 goes bust, I'd be one of the first. Comparisons are definitely out of the question for me after six years!

I also got that information from the law firm, that they're one of the first, but I've also read reports that deposited funds aren't safe there in the event of insolvency. At least, that's what I read, and a lawyer wrote a very interesting report about it on LinkedIn…

But even if you're one of the first? How fair is that to the others who have also waited for years? Where did you get that information, and when will it happen? C683/24 doesn't even have a date, and they can shift funds just as easily as Tipic**, for example.

Furthermore, there's an appeal pending with Advofin, which was supposed to be heard at the end of October? Was that you? The Gerhard P**** case was even featured and reported on in the Malta News, and that was the February verdict, which was lost and rejected.
