I agree with you Daniel, but they are case where Casino Guru is not fair, for my case the casino let me suscribe and deposit, and when I try to complete the KYC to withdraw it wasn't working because I'm not on the list of country. When I contacted them they claim to me that as I'm french I cannot withdraw more than my deposit ! Always less. And after that they block my country to access the casino, and I had to open a case here.

I've managed to have screenshot, and proof with my IP, but casino guru told me to open a complaint to the licence.

I swear they are rigged, because the close the complaint with no proof, no explanation, nothing....

Btw, the evidence provide by the casino here were fake and I've proved it... So I don't understand why casino guru can stand with liar and scammer like them..

I'm looking at the complaint that you mentioned here. I noticed you asked the casino whether you're allowed to play from France, but you also asked other questions. The customer support answered the other question regarding BTC, but they didn't confirm you can play from France according to the screenshot provided.

Even though casinos can be VPN friendly, it doesn't mean that you can play there from a restricted country. It only means that you can play from an allowed country, but protecting yourself with VPN. It seems that you registered from a restricted country using VPN.

Anyway, we didn't close your complaint forever. As the summary says:

"It was decided that the player should submit a complaint to the casino's licensing authority, and so the complaint was closed temporarily pending the outcome of the regulator's investigation. Upon receipt of their decision, the complaint will be reopened and updated as appropriate."

It simply means that we wanted to know what's the authority's opinion on this since we weren't 100% sure who's right and who's wrong in this case.

Hello Daniel,

I have several issue with them :

  • Deposit not credited (I've noticed several same complaint for this issue)
  • Casino telling me that I cannot withdraw more than my deposit
  • I didn't create with a VPN but with my IP, and they restricted France after I've post here about their behaviour and fact they didn't want to pay me, and refund the money that I wasn't able to have credited

About the authority, I'm sure those people don't care about complaint, because this casino didn't provide any documents and didn't reply about the refund of the money they didn't credited... I don't trust them, and I know the curaçao gov is late on the new regulation, but I know thats why they are not respecting it at all...

I've took a legal councel against them, because its not fair how they are treating me.

The law is what it is and if players have the ability to recoup their losses, many do. It doesn't matter how you evaluate it morally, that's just the reality and it's in the nature of things.

I don't deny the fact that when players have the option of reclaiming the money back, then they can do so. I just wouldn't support it actively, recommending it to every single Austrian player in cases where the casino treated them fairly (and treated them as any other player who had the same chance for winnings).

The responsible gambling aspect you mentioned here brings a new light into the discussion. It's definitely better for Austrian players sticking to Austria licensed casinos if they bring the option of blocking yourself from all casinos (licensed in Austria) since this is the kind of protection you want to use when you feel like the gambling is getting out of your control.

On the other hand, I'm afraid that you'll reach exactly the same point they have in the Great Britain. You can block yourself from all UK licensed casinos through GAMSTOP. The result is that players who get blocked for a few years on GAMSTOP start looking for other casinos. MGA licensed casinos won't accept them (contrary to the situation in Austria) so they're forced to play in Curacao licensed or unlicensed casinos and they do play there.

The result is that they block themselves in casinos that are the best and safest for them on GAMSTOP. Then MGA casinos that are generally decent won't accept them, then the players are even more vulnerable since they can start playing in casinos that don't really care about any law. Some of those casinos can be great. Even we have for example Curacao licensed casinos with ratings 9+, but you surely know that playing in those or unlicensed casinos can be problematic. Their services provided differ a lot. Eventually, the biggest gamblers blocked in Austria will start playing in shady unlicensed casinos that won't care about responsible gambling at all and suing them won't have any effect.

Yesterday I received a letter from Advofin that Pokerstars is still not paying. I've been waiting for 90,000 for 1 year... Pokerstars spends 100s of millions on advertising but doesn't pay despite the execution title! Certain companies can afford anything! fuck them!!
