Babylon might have fallen about 2,500 years ago, but it’s back in action for this thrill-packed slot game.
The visuals in this Relax Gaming slot really stand out. The symbols appear on the grid in the form of stone blocks, falling into place when you spin. The background is an opulent ancient civilization, featuring luscious gardens and water flowing through aqueducts. A slow and mysterious soundtrack sets the tone for a whole world of potential wins.
The symbols that pay the most are a set of colorful engravings of mythical creatures. For example, a winged ox and a griffin with the head of a man. The lowest-paying symbols, on the other hand, are a set of ancient runes.
Conquer Babylon is played on a grid with six reels and four rows, but it can expand to eight rows. When the grid is expanded, it has a maximum of 262,144 different ways to win. Wins trigger when at least three of the same symbols land on adjacent reels from left to right.
At the end of every spin, winning symbols are removed from the grid and an extra row is added.
Conquer Babylon is absolutely jam-packed with special features. The first one that stood out to us was the Super symbol, which marks positions that transform to reveal Modifiers, for example, Coin symbols, or the Global Multiplier that lasts for the whole game round.
You might also encounter the Crush Multiplier, where a giant symbol can appear on the grid, crushing other symbols that stand in its way. These huge symbols also increase the Global Multiplier.
If you get three, four, five, or six Scatter symbols, you’ll get 8, 10, 12, or 15 Free Spins, respectively. The Global Multiplier stays sticky for the whole Free Spins round. Within the bonus game, landing one Scatter gets you another Free Spin, while three Scatters re-trigger the whole round.
If the Scatters land in conjunction with the Super symbol, you’ll get into the Super Bonus game, with eight Free Spins. The Super symbol and the Global Multiplier are sticky until the end of the feature.
Finally, Wild symbols can appear on the reels during the base game and Free Spins, substituting for other regular symbols.
Conquer Babylon has a Return to Player (RTP) percentage of 96.10%, which is just above the industry average of 96%.
Thanks to a medium to high volatility, you might have to wait a little longer to trigger a win, but it’s likely to be slightly higher than on the average slot game. Possible stake amounts range from $/€/£0.20 to $/€/£60 per go, and you’ll stand a chance to win up to 15,000x your bet.
The visuals in the Conquer Babylon game are excellent - they’re very different from your average slot game. But what makes this Relax Gaming title really stand out is the special features. We were impressed by the way the grid expands with every Cascade, plus the Super symbols and Modifiers add a unique aspect to gameplay. The 15,000x max win is pretty generous, so we’d highly recommend giving this slot a go.
