Case summary

The player from Quebec files a complaint against Welle Casino for the confiscation of $4,000 in winnings after completing the No Deposit Bonus wagering requirement. Despite initially accepting a $100 cashout cap, the casino reduced his balance back to $100 after he accrued $4,000, citing that the maximum limit applies to winnings generated from the bonus funds. He argues that his winnings were made with real money after fulfilling the bonus conditions and requests the release of his confiscated funds.

Hello Casino Guru team,

I would like to submit a formal complaint against Welle Casino (website: 51welle2.casino) regarding the confiscation of 4,000$ in winnings generated after completing a No Deposit Bonus wagering requirement.

Full summary of events:

1. I received a $10 No Deposit Cash Bonus with a 45x wagering requirement and a $100 maximum cashout (x10 the bonus amount).

2. I completed the full 45x wagering requirement. At that point, my balance had reached 300$, which the casino correctly reduced to $100 — the x10 max cashout cap per section 6.6.1 of their Terms and Conditions. I accepted this.

3. The $100 was transferred to my real money balance, signifying the bonus cycle was complete.

4. With that $100 real money balance, I continued to play and reached 4000$.

5. When I attempted to withdraw, the casino reduced my balance back to $100, confiscating 3900$ in winnings generated entirely after the bonus wagering was completed.

The casino’s justification:

I contacted support twice. In their first response (Patrick R.), the casino stated: "the maximum withdrawal also applies to winnings made with the funds made from the bonus" and that "funds that were voided upon transferring to the real balance were indicative of maximal winning that you were able to withdraw from a no-deposit bonus."

In their second response (Oscar B.), after I escalated, they stated: "Transfer from bonus balance to real balance is a procedure that indicates the finalization of wagering process and signifies that the funds are now available for withdrawal. It does not mean that the transferred funds are no longer considered as winnings from no-deposit bonus."

Why this interpretation is not supported by their Terms and Conditions:

Section 6.6.1 of Welle Casino’s Terms and Conditions (version 1.14, last updated January 7, 2026) states:

"The maximum amount that can be won and/or withdrawn from any No Deposit Cash Bonus is 10 times the value of the bonus funds."

This clause governs amounts won from the No Deposit Bonus. My 4000$ was not won from the bonus , it was won from the $100 real money balance that remained after the bonus cycle was fully completed and the cap was already applied.

Critically, nowhere in Welle Casino’s Terms and Conditions does it state that the x10 restriction continues to apply to gameplay conducted after the wagering requirements are completed and the balance has been converted to real money. It doesnt make any sense to let someone play with the 100$ if you dont allow him to win, secondly it doesnt make sense because i could have withdraw the 100$ and deposit the 100$ two seconds later and it would have been the same thing. The casino’s support agents are asserting an interpretation that has no written basis in their own Terms and Conditions (version 1.14).

Additional context:

I have deposited over 7000$ at Welle Casino historically. I am a long-standing depositing customer, not a bonus abuser attempting to exploit a free bonus.

What I am requesting:

The release of 4000$ in post-wagering winnings that were confiscated without any explicit contractual basis.

I am happy to provide screenshots of both support conversations, my transaction and deposit history, and the full Terms and Conditions document upon request.

Thank you for your assistance.

Dear Awaudette10,

Thank you for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your experience with Welle Casino and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

May I ask a few questions to better understand what happened?

  • Were you informed at any point that the bonus terms and conditions remain in effect even after you have completed the wagering requirements?
  • Do I understand correctly that your winnings were transferred from the bonus balance to the real money balance after you completed the wagering requirements?

Additionally, if there is any other relevant communication between you and the casino, please forward it to kristina.s@casino.guru.

We hope to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Kristina

Hello Kristina,

Thank you for looking into this matter. To answer your questions:

1. Were you informed at any point that the bonus terms remain in effect after completing the wagering requirements?

No, absolutely not. At no point was I informed, whether by the casino, by any on-screen notification, or by any written clause in their Terms and Conditions, that the x10 maximum withdrawal restriction would continue to apply after the wagering requirements were fully completed. There is simply no clause in Welle Casino’s Terms and Conditions (version 1.14, January 7, 2026) that explicitly states the restriction survives the completion of wagering and the conversion of the balance to real money. The casino’s own support agents, when challenged, were unable to cite a specific clause to justify their decision, because no such clause exists.

2. Were your winnings transferred from the bonus balance to the real money balance after completing the wagering?

Yes, precisely. Once I completed the full 45x wagering requirement, the system automatically applied the cap and transferred 100$ to my real money balance, confirming that the bonus cycle was fully finalized. I then continued playing with that 100$ real money balance and built it up to 4,000 at the moment of withdrawal, without any prior warning whatsoever.

I also want to raise a point that I find particularly important. If the casino’s position is that the x10 restriction applies permanently to everything generated from the moment the bonus was activated, then what exactly was the purpose of transferring 100$ to my real money balance and allowing me to continue playing? If I had no realistic chance of ever withdrawing more than 100$, regardless of how much I won, then the casino was knowingly letting me gamble with my time, my hopes, and my energy under completely false pretenses. No rational person would continue playing if they knew their winnings were guaranteed to be confiscated. The fact that the casino transferred funds to my real money balance and let me play freely without a single warning created a legitimate and reasonable expectation that I was playing with real money and that my winnings were mine to keep. This is not mentioned anywhere in their Terms and Conditions, and allowing a player to continue in this situation while hiding a restriction is, in my view, fundamentally deceptive and irresponsible.

I also want to highlight that I have deposited over 8000$ at Welle Casino. I am a loyal, long-standing customer who acted in complete good faith throughout this process. The casino’s decision to silently apply a restriction that is not explicitly written in their Terms and Conditions, while allowing me to continue playing uninterrupted, is not only fundamentally unfair but also inconsistent with transparent and responsible bonus practices.

I appreciate your efforts in resolving this matter and remain available for any additional information you may need.

Best regards

Hello everyone,

On 11.06.2026 (UTC) the customer activated the No Deposit Cash Bonus "Ocean Riches Bonus 10 CAD". According to the Terms and Conditions, No Deposit Cash Bonuses are subject to a maximum winnings and withdrawal limit (x10).

When selecting the No Deposit Cash Bonus on the website, a warning is displayed to the customer. This warning also remains visible after the bonus has been activated and while the customer is playing with the bonus.

The exact text of the warning is:

After the wagering is completed, the bonus balance is automatically reduced to 10x the original bonus amount —this sum becomes available for withdrawal.

Any further winnings exceeding this limit will be adjusted manually upon withdrawal request.

Below, we are attaching screenshots of this bonus:

1) when selecting the bonus;

2) after the bonus has already been activated.

T&C

6.6. The maximum amount that can be won and/or withdrawn from any No Deposit Cash Bonus is 10 times the value of the bonus funds.

–  For Example, if a customer receives a No Deposit Cash Bonus of €50 and wins €1000, the customer will be able to withdraw €500 (€50 x 10), and the remaining €500 will be voided.

Therefore, the maximum winnings and withdrawal limit was clearly stated both in the Terms and Conditions and in the warning displayed on the website when selecting and using this No Deposit Cash Bonus.

The 100 CAD (representing x10 the original No Deposit Cash Bonus amount) was successfully withdrawn to the customer's payment method.

I would like to address the warning they provided. The exact text states:

"After the wagering is completed, the bonus balance is automatically reduced to 10x the original bonus amount, this sum becomes available for withdrawal. Any further winnings exceeding this limit will be adjusted manually upon withdrawal request."

I want to point out a critical detail in this very warning: it explicitly states that the 100$ sum becomes available for withdrawal. This confirms that at that point, the funds were mine to withdraw freely as real money.

If those 100$ were genuinely available for withdrawal as real money, then by definition they were no longer bonus funds. Real money that is available for withdrawal is, by any reasonable standard, the same as real money that has been withdrawn and redeposited. The economic reality is identical, the funds belonged to me.

Furthermore, I want to highlight that clause 6.6 was already fully applied and honored at the moment the wagering was completed. My balance at that point was 300$ which was reduced to 100$, exactly 10x the original 10$ bonus. Clause 6.6 was therefore already enforced in full. The casino applied it once, as written, and that should have been the end of its application. There is no clause anywhere in the Terms and Conditions that states the restriction continues to apply beyond that point, or that it applies a second time upon a subsequent withdrawal request.

The casino cannot simultaneously claim that the 100$ was "available for withdrawal" as real money, while also maintaining that any winnings generated from those same funds remain permanently tied to the original bonus. These two positions are directly contradictory.

I was never informed, explicitly or otherwise, that freely withdrawable real money funds would still be subject to bonus restrictions if used for further play.
