I am disputing StakeMania Casino’s confiscation of DKK 68,707.80 from my account in connection with the Rewards Calendar/Rakeback promotion.
On 2 August 2026, I made a DKK 1,004.53 ETH deposit. My account history explicitly identifies this transaction as "Bonus: No". This was therefore a real-money deposit and not a bonus deposit.
The Rakeback rewards I subsequently claimed had been accumulated from gameplay on previous days. They were not generated by my DKK 1,004.53 deposit itself. The amounts were relatively small compared with the DKK 68,707.80 balance later confiscated.
During this period, funds from my cash balance were held in the casino’s Vault, while previously accumulated Rakeback rewards were claimed separately and wagered and lost. There may have been some overlap in timing between claiming Rakeback and having cash funds in the account, which is why I believe the exact timing and applicability of the promotional restriction should be established from the casino’s records.
The relevant Rewards Calendar terms state:
"If a player participates in the Rewards Calendar, the maximum bet is €5."
The promotion also states that a 1x wagering requirement applies to the Rakeback reward.
StakeMania subsequently reviewed my gameplay and confiscated DKK 68,707.80, claiming that I had breached the €5 maximum-bet rule.
The central issue is the duration and scope of this €5 restriction.
The terms state the €5 maximum bet, but I have not found a clear provision explaining when the restriction starts and, most importantly, when it ends. The promotion specifies a 1x wagering requirement, but I have not found any provision stating that the €5 maximum-bet restriction continues after the applicable wagering requirement has been completed.
I believe this distinction is particularly important in my case. The Rakeback rewards were generated from previous gameplay, while my DKK 1,004.53 deposit was explicitly recorded as "Bonus: No". The subsequent balance that StakeMania confiscated was therefore not simply a bonus balance.
If StakeMania intended the €5 restriction to continue beyond completion of the wagering requirement, I believe this should have been clearly and explicitly stated in the applicable terms. The wording "If a player participates in the Rewards Calendar" does not clearly define the duration or scope of such a restriction.
The €5 restriction is also presented in the separate Rewards Calendar/Rakeback terms rather than the general Terms and Conditions. I believe it is relevant to assess whether the restriction was sufficiently clear, particularly regarding how long it remained applicable.
I have played at StakeMania on numerous previous occasions without this maximum-bet rule being raised as an issue, including when I lost or won considerably smaller amounts. While this alone does not prove selective enforcement, I believe it is relevant when assessing how the rule was applied in my case.
I am not disputing that the €5 wording exists. My dispute concerns its interpretation, duration and scope, and whether it provides a sufficient basis for confiscating the entire DKK 68,707.80 balance.
I have already submitted a formal complaint directly to StakeMania under ticket XHM-BEJMH-976, together with the documentation available to me, and requested a substantive explanation of the basis for the confiscation.
I have provided Casino Guru with the relevant screenshots, transaction information, promotional terms and correspondence available to me. I would ask Casino Guru to review this documentation and assess whether StakeMania’s interpretation of the €5 maximum-bet rule is justified by the terms presented to me.
If StakeMania relies on additional terms, versions of the terms, gameplay records or other information that was not available to me, I would appreciate it if Casino Guru could ask the casino to provide and explain that information.
In particular, I would appreciate Casino Guru’s assessment of:
whether the €5 maximum-bet restriction clearly applied to the disputed bets;
when the restriction was intended to start and end;
whether it continued to apply after completion of the applicable 1x wagering requirement;
whether it could reasonably apply to subsequent gameplay involving a balance originating from my own non-bonus deposit and real-money gameplay; and
whether the terms provide a sufficient basis for confiscating the entire DKK 68,707.80 balance.
I am seeking the return of the full confiscated amount of DKK 68,707.80.
