Case summary

The player from the United Kingdom had their account closed by Rollbit after requesting a withdrawal of approximately $400, labeled as rejected. Despite several attempts to inquire about the specific terms breached, the casino failed to provide justification for the account closure or the withheld funds totaling around $520. The player sought assistance in mediating a resolution and obtaining clarity on the operator's ADR provider. We reviewed the case but closed the complaint because it involved sports betting activity and we did not have sufficient expertise to assess the casino’s investigation or determine whether the account closure and withholding of winnings were justified.

Summary:

I held an account with Rollbit (rollbit.com) and was able to register, deposit, and play without any restriction or block at any point. I requested a withdrawal of 5.31399 SOL (approx. $400 at the time), which was marked as rejected/not sent. Shortly after, my account was closed by the operator, who stated via live chat that I was "in breach of our terms and conditions" and that my account was in a net profit of $681.65 overall. No specific clause of the Terms and Conditions was provided to justify this despite repeated requests.

At the time of closure I had a combined total of approximately $520 in withheld funds: my remaining account balance plus the rejected SOL withdrawal.

I escalated this through Rollbit’s own support and compliance channels over several weeks:

• Multiple live chat conversations with different agents (Michael, Cubey, Montie), none of whom would confirm the status of my funds or cite a specific T&C clause.

• A formal email to support@rollbit.com, which went unanswered until I was redirected to compliance@rollbit.com.

• A formal complaint submitted to compliance@rollbit.com, following their own stated complaints process (providing account email, ID verification willingness, summary of issue, and proposed resolution as requested).

• Compliance responded stating the matter was "closed" and that I was "no longer welcome at Rollbit," without answering any of my specific questions about the funds, and without naming their required Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider.

• I followed up formally requesting the name of their CGA-certified ADR provider, as operators are required to disclose this once an internal complaint is unresolved. This request has also gone unanswered after 5+ business days.

I am raising this complaint because Rollbit has not provided any substantive justification for withholding my funds, has not cited a specific Terms and Conditions clause despite repeated requests, and has failed to comply with its own obligation to name an ADR provider when asked. I would like assistance either in mediating a resolution or in confirming the correct escalation path for this operator.

I can provide full supporting documentation, including timestamped screenshots of all chat and email correspondence, on request.

Dear bbr23,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I'm sorry to hear about your problem. Please allow me to ask you a few questions, so I can understand the whole situation completely.

  • Could you please advise which games you focused on - slots, live casino, sports betting, etc.?
  • Did you pass the verification before you lost access to the account?
  • Did you accumulate your winnings with or without an active bonus?

I hope we will be able to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Attila

Dear Attila,

Thank you for looking into this. To answer your questions:

I was exclusively sports betting on Rollbit — no slots or live casino games were involved.

I did not pass verification before losing access. When I attempted to withdraw, I was asked to complete KYC/residency verification. When I selected "United Kingdom" as my country of residence, the form stated that UK players cannot be accepted and would not let me proceed. I contacted support at that point to ask how they wanted me to proceed, rather than submitting false information to get past the form. Shortly afterwards, my account was closed.

There was no active bonus involved. My balance and winnings came entirely from funds I personally deposited and sports bets placed with those funds — no bonus funds, free bets, or promotions were used.

For full transparency, I want to be upfront that I am a UK resident and accessed rollbit.com (not the separately UK-licensed rollbit.co.uk) using a VPN. I did not misrepresent my location during verification — I selected the UK truthfully when asked and was blocked at that point, rather than attempting to falsify the form.

At the point my account was closed, I had approximately $520 combined in withheld funds: my remaining account balance plus a withdrawal of 5.31399 SOL that had been marked as rejected/not sent. Rollbit's support and compliance teams have repeatedly declined to confirm the status of these funds or cite a specific clause of their Terms and Conditions justifying withholding them, despite multiple requests over several weeks.

Please let me know if you need any further information or documentation — I have timestamped screenshots of all correspondence with Rollbit available.

Thank you again for your help with this.

Best regards

Thank you for your reply, bbr23. I’m sorry to say I don’t have good news. If your account was blocked after placing only sports bets, it’s likely the casino detected activity that prompted that decision. Because we don’t have sufficient expertise or insight into this area of online gambling, we are unable to interpret the casino’s investigation or their explanation accurately and therefore cannot judge this case fairly. This does not mean we consider your complaint unjustified; we are simply unable to evaluate it properly. I understand how frustrating this must be for you, and I apologize that we cannot be of more help.

After reviewing the available information, we must close this complaint. I’m sorry we could not resolve this for you. Please don’t hesitate to contact us in the future if you encounter issues with this or any other casino — we will do our best to assist.
