Complaint against NV Casino – account suspension and withheld balance of approximately CHF 6,500

I am requesting assistance from Casino Guru in a dispute with NV Casino. My fully verified player account has been blocked, even though it has a balance of approximately CHF 6,500.

NV Casino justifies the ban primarily with two points: a second account and an incorrect spelling of my first name.

I want to be completely transparent about what happened:

It appears I already had an older account that I had forgotten about when I registered again. This old account was not KYC-verified and had no balance.

The account I used later, however, was fully verified. I submitted the required KYC documents, and these were accepted by the casino. My identity was therefore known to the casino and verified using my documents.

There was simply a typo in my first name ("Nils" instead of "Niels"). At no point was there any intention to conceal my identity or impersonate someone else. I also provided my correct, full name when contacting live support. Support then informed me, in essence, that they assumed it was a typo and would forward the matter for correction.

All deposits into the account in question were made using legitimate payment methods attributable to me personally. The account was fully KYC verified, deposits were accepted, and I was able to play normally. The current balance of approximately CHF 6,500 subsequently accumulated in this account.

My access was only blocked after this credit balance was in the account and a payout became relevant.

NV Casino is now invoking its terms and conditions regarding incorrect registration data and multiple accounts. I don't deny that the older account existed. However, the crucial point for me is that the old account was unverified and had no funds, and I simply didn't remember it when registering the new account. It wasn't a deliberate attempt to circumvent bonus terms, limits, or other rules by using multiple accounts.

What I find particularly problematic is that NV Casino carried out and accepted my full KYC verification for the subsequent account. The casino thus had access to my identity documents and still accepted my deposits and gameplay.

I am prepared to provide Casino Guru with all relevant correspondence, KYC information and other available evidence.

My goal is not to reopen the account, but to receive the payout of my legally acquired credit balance of approximately CHF 6,500.

I therefore ask Casino Guru to investigate the case and mediate with NV Casino so that the withheld funds are fully paid out.

Thank you for your support.

Hello,

Thank you very much for submitting this complaint. I'm sorry to hear about the problem you're experiencing. Please allow me to ask you a few questions to clarify your situation.

  • Could you please specify when exactly you first registered at NV Casino? Did you register using your email address or phone number? Did you activate any bonuses on your first account?
  • Was the typo in your first name the only incorrect information you provided when registering your first account? Was this account successfully verified despite the typo?
  • When exactly did you create your second account at NV Casino, and did you register using your email address or phone number?
  • Did you activate any bonuses on your second account?

I hope we will be able to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards

Veronika
