I am filing a formal multi-incident complaint against Lucky Dreams Casino for two separate instances of unfair balance deductions totaling $30,000 NZD. In both cases, the casino's automated system incorrectly applied promotional maximum cash out caps to winnings that were generated using unrestricted, post-wagering real cash.

Incident 1 (Current Dispute - $24,000 NZD Withheld):

Recently, I activated the "Weekend Trio" reload bonus. The promotion carried an $8,000 NZD wagering turnover requirement and a strict $8 NZD maximum bet limit. I meticulously monitored my play and completed exactly $8,005 NZD in wagering turnover while staying 100% within the $8 bet limit.

Once the system tracked my wagering as 100% complete, my active bonus officially closed, and my balance transitioned into real cash. Following standard casino operations, I only scaled up my bet sizes beyond the $8 limit after the bonus restrictions vanished. I subsequently ran my balance up to nearly $40,000 NZD, finishing the session at $29,000 NZD.

Upon requesting a withdrawal, the casino's automated finance script blindly slashed my balance down to $5,000 NZD, confiscating $24,000 NZD. Standard front-line customer support has issued a generic, automated template response completely ignoring the timeline of my bets. The player interface actively restricts my view to only my last 50 bets, preventing me from taking screenshots of the transition point. I formally request that the mediator compel Lucky Dreams to extract my backend server logs to audit the exact balance timestamp when the $8,000 NZD wagering hit 100%. Winnings generated from subsequent real-cash spins are legally exempt from promotional caps.

Incident 2 (May 2026 Dispute - $6,000 NZD Withheld):

Between 27 May and 4 June 2026, I experienced an identical issue on this platform. I successfully hit a $35,000 NZD win, scaled down to $30,000 NZD, and requested a clean cash withdrawal. The casino approved roughly $24,000 NZD but withheld $6,000 NZD. They claimed that a completely separate bonus I opted into after my winning session was finished retroactively applied to my pending withdrawal. I have a full, documented email chain showing customer support failing to address the separate timelines of these funds.

Conclusion:

Lucky Dreams exhibits a systemic software or management failure where real-cash balances are erroneously overwritten by promotional rules. I have kept my remaining $5,000 NZD balance completely untouched and frozen. I request a manual, supervisor-level audit of my server-side bet logs for both sessions so my rightfully won cash can be restored.

Hello,

Thank you very much for submitting this complaint. I'm sorry to hear about the problem you're experiencing. Please allow me to ask you a few questions to clarify your situation.

  • How much did you win from playing with the "Weekend Trio" reload bonus? Was this amount capped at the maximum winnings allowed under the bonus terms when the funds were transferred from your bonus balance to your real-money balance?
  • Am I correct in understanding that you did not request a withdrawal immediately after completing the bonus wagering requirements, but instead continued playing with your funds and placed bets exceeding the maximum allowed while the bonus terms were still applicable?
  • Please ask the casino via email to provide you with your gaming history in Excel format, covering both incidents referred to in your complaint. Once you receive the file, kindly forward it to me at veronika.f@casino.guru.

I hope we will be able to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Veronika

Hello Veronika,

Thank you for opening my case and helping me look into this matter. To answer your questions accuracy:

1) When I completed the wagering requirements for the "Weekend Trio" reload bonus, my balance sat at around $10,000 (I cannot for sure say how much it approximately was). The casinos system did NOT automatically cap or adjust my balance down to $5,000 at the exact moment the 100% wagering requirement was met. The funds wear seamless moved to my real money balance as a lump sum.

2) It is correct that I did not request an immediate withdrawal, because my account dashboard clearly displayed that the wagering requirement was completed and the funds were now in my real money cash balance. Because the casino’s user interface signalled that the bonus contract was closed, I raised my bets and continued playing. I only played higher bets AFTER the system cleared the bonus wagering. I did not violate any maximum bet limits while the bonus terms were actively applicable.

I have just sent a formal email to Lucky Dreams Casino requesting my full gaming history in excel formal as you’ve requested. As soon as they provide the file, I will immediately forward it to you.

Thank you so much for your time and guidance.

Kind Regards,

C. Z.

Thank you for your reply. I have reviewed the General Bonus Terms and Conditions, and this is what I found:

Unless specified otherwise in the individual Promotion Terms and Conditions, any bonus winnings ***from any deposit bonus offer*** will be capped to a maximum of 5000 USD/EUR/CAD/AUD/NZD/CHF/USDT/USDC, 50000 NOK, 100000 ZAR. Other cryptocurrencies maximums will be based on the current exchange rate to EUR at the time of cashout processing. Any winnings over this amount may be forfeited (inclusive of any amount generated through subsequent play with the redeemed bonus winnings).

Some casinos apply the maximum win limit immediately after the player completes the wagering requirements, while others apply it only when the player requests a withdrawal. Since your winnings were not capped immediately after you completed the wagering requirements, the subsequent winnings you accumulated were generated from funds that, according to the bonus terms, you were not entitled to retain in the first place.

I would also like to emphasize that, according to our Fair Gambling Codex, we consider imposed win limits to be unfair and predatory when they are applied to real-money gameplay. However, we accept bonus terms and conditions that restrict the maximum cashout from bonus play.

From our point of view, although this is certainly disappointing from a player-experience perspective, the casino applied the cap in accordance with its Terms and Conditions.

Regarding the winnings that were confiscated in May, have you already received any response from the casino regarding your request for your gaming history?

Hi Veronika,

Thank you for your thorough review of the terms. While it is deeply disappointing to hear that the casinos software failure to cap my balance is being enforced against me, and I feel that a maximum win limit is a core characteristic of a financial promotion. Burying a critical restrictive clause inside a separate General Terms document while omitting it from the promotion's primary interface is inherently misleading to the consumer. But I thank you for your time

To answer your question: No, I still have not received any response or the excel gaming history file from Lucky Dreams regarding my data request. They have completely ignored my emails.

Dear Veronika, and to the Management of Lucky Dreams Casino,

I accept your findings regarding the fine print, but I want it publicly logged on this ticket exactly how Lucky Dreams treats its players.

I am a student who played fairly. When I activated this bonus, the promotional screen clearly displayed the deposit rules and the 40x wagering requirement. It completely hid the "subsequent play" cap.

When my dashboard hit 100% completed, the casino's own software shifted my balance into "Real Cash" and actively encouraged me to keep betting.

If I had lost that $29,000 back to the casino, Lucky Dreams would have happily kept my money. But because I won, they used a buried rule to confiscate $24,000 of legitimate wins. This is predatory, misleading, and completely breaks the spirit of fair gaming.

I played in good faith based on what the casino's own user interface told me. Taking $24,000 away from a player on a software technicality is devastating.

I ask that Lucky Dreams management reviews this case from a human perspective and honors the winnings that their own system displayed as real cash.

Hello czlahtic1,

I'm Michal, and I have taken over your complaint. I have reviewed the case, and I feel there are a few points I need to bring to your attention.

While I can understand your disappointment with the casino's actions, and I agree that, from a user experience point of view, it would certainly have been helpful if you had been informed in some way that the funds stemming from the bonus gameplay remained subject to the applicable bonus rules, this does not remove or void the rules to which you agreed when you registered your account and claimed the bonus.

If I understand the situation correctly, you were still playing with funds stemming from the bonus gameplay, and the casino capped your winnings on only one occasion, in accordance with their bonus T&Cs.

As a general principle, it is the player's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the applicable rules before participating in a promotion. Therefore, the fact that a particular rule may have been overlooked or misunderstood does not, in itself, make that rule inapplicable.

Moreover, a maximum win limit on winnings generated from bonus gameplay is quite common within the industry.

Please note that I am not defending the casino; I am simply explaining how this type of rule is generally treated within the industry.

The matter that I believe still warrants further review is the alleged maximum bet violation, which you were informed about back in May.

I will, of course, contact the casino team and ask them to provide clarification regarding the course of events and the situation as a whole. However, my main focus will be on the alleged maximum bet violation.

I would like to invite LuckyDreams Casino to join the conversation.

Dear LuckyDreams Casino,

Could you please provide a more detailed clarification regarding the course of events and the handling of the entire situation?

Additionally, I would like to enquire about the maximum bet violation that occurred in May, which reportedly resulted in the confiscation of the player's winnings. Please clarify the circumstances surrounding this violation, including the specific bets that were considered to be in breach of the applicable rules.

Kindly also provide the player's full game logs, including the relevant deposit and bonus history, so that I can independently review the matter. Please send the requested evidence to michal.k@casino.guru.

Thank you in advance.
