Case summary

The player from Austria files a complaint against HypeBet for rejecting a withdrawal of $110, which was won from a Daily Wheel bonus credited directly to her Real Balance. Despite having a prior deposit history, she is told her account is 'inactive' and must deposit and wager her own funds for weeks before accessing her winnings, which she views as a predatory practice.

"I am filing a formal complaint against HypeBet regarding a rejected withdrawal of $110.

I won this amount starting from a $0.50 Daily Wheel bonus. I would like to emphasize that the winnings from this wheel were credited directly to my Real Balance, not as a bonus balance with wagering requirements. This is a practice similar to sites like Stake.com, where such rewards are considered immediately withdrawable cash.

Despite the funds being in my Real Balance and the fact that I have a prior deposit history on the site, my withdrawal request was rejected. Support told me that my account is 'inactive' and demanded that I deposit and wager my own funds for 'a week or two' before I can withdraw.

I find this requirement predatory and a breach of fair gaming practices because:

The funds are already in my Real Balance.

I have a prior deposit history.

Forcing a player to wager for 1-2 weeks just to access funds that are already marked as withdrawable is an obvious stalling tactic.

This is clearly an intentional delay designed to force me to continue playing and eventually lose my winnings instead of allowing a legitimate payout.

I request the immediate approval of my $110 withdrawal without further excuses."
