Case summary

The player from the United Kingdom contested the removal of €1,238 from his account by Boomerang Bet after he had completed the wagering requirements of a bonus, citing misleading promotional practices regarding the undisclosed Maximum Payout limit. He argued that significant conditions should have been transparently displayed and requested the restoration of his removed balance. The casino claimed the maximum withdrawal was limited to €30 and that this was included in the promotional email, but the player disputed receiving such terms. Despite multiple requests, the casino failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for the discrepancy between the email versions. The complaint was closed as unresolved due to the casino's lack of cooperation.

Dispute regarding undisclosed Maximum Payout on €30 bonus – Boomerang Bet

I am filing this complaint against Boomerang Bet regarding the removal of 1,238 Euro from my account following the completion of a bonus wagering requirement.

On April 9th, 2026, I activated a deposit bonus. The activation page prominently displayed a 200x wagering requirement (equivalent to 6,000 Euro. I successfully met these requirements in full. Upon completion, my balance stood at 1,268 Euro. Shortly after, the casino removed the majority of these funds, leaving me with only 30 Euro, citing a "Maximum Payout" rule.

My dispute is based on misleading promotional transparency. While the casino's activation page clearly highlighted the wagering requirement, it failed to display the Maximum Payout limit on the same screen.

Under international gambling regulatory standards (and as per the expectations of fair play), "Significant Conditions"—specifically those that cap a player's potential winnings—must be displayed prominently alongside the offer, not buried within a separate "Bonus Terms" link at the bottom of the page.

I have attached a screenshot of another bonus offered to me by the casino just days later. As you can see in the attachment, the activation interface displays the wagering requirement but completely omits the Maximum Payout cap. This confirms a consistent pattern of non-transparency in Boomerang Bet’s promotional layout.

By displaying the "200x wagering" but hiding the "Max Win" cap, the casino led me to believe that the wagering requirement was the only primary condition for withdrawing my full balance.

I am requesting that Boomerang Bet restores the removed balance of 1,238 Euros, as the significant limitation on winnings was not clearly signposted at the point of bonus activation.

Hello,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I’m sorry to hear about your problem. I checked the T&Cs and I found this:

7.15 If you received any no-deposit free spins, you agree to have your winnings from this promotion capped at 80 EUR, in addition to the wagering requirement of x40 (forty) on the derived winnings.

7.16 Any no-deposit casino bonus has wagering requirements of x40 (forty). Any such bonus has a maximum withdrawal limit of x5 (five) the bonus amount received. For example, a 20 EUR (twenty) no-deposit bonus will have a maximum withdrawal limit of 100 EUR (one hundred). Any winnings above 100 EUR (one hundred) will not be eligible for withdrawal and will be voided and removed from the account balance at the withdrawal stage.

Could you please send me a link or a screenshot of the bonus you activated and played with?

I would like to emphasize that, according to our Fair Gambling Codex https://casino.guru/fair-gambling-codex-for-casinos#win-limits, win limits are considered unfair and predatory only when applied to real money games. We do, however, accept bonus terms and conditions that restrict the maximum cashout from bonus play.

Thank you very much in advance for your understanding.

Best regards,

Attila

Hello Attila,

Thank you for your reply.

I do not have a screenshot of the exact moment I claimed the bonus, as I had no reason to believe I would need to record this. However, I have attached a screenshot from my Bonus History showing the Bonus ID, the total winnings generated of €1,268, and the amount released.

I also attached an example of another bonus I received from this same casino. It is presented in exactly the same format, and crucially, it does not display any win limit on the claim screen. The cap is only hidden deep in the general T&Cs. This is not transparent or fair communication.

Furthermore, regarding the rules you quoted:

• Rule 7.15 states a cap of €80.

• Rule 7.16 states a cap of 5x the bonus amount.

My screenshot shows the "Released Amount" is €30. If we follow Rule 7.16, 5x the bonus amount would mean the maximum withdrawal should be €150, not €80. The numbers you quoted do not match the amount they actually paid me. They are applying conflicting rules to void my winnings.

The system allowed me to accumulate €1,268 as playable balance, treating it as my money, only to steal it later. This is a predatory practice.

Please review the evidence provided.

Regards

Hello Attila,

I am providing an urgent update to my case. I have just located the original promotional email sent by Boomerang.bet for this specific bonus.

I would like to highlight two critical points from this email and my gameplay:

1. Transparency: The attached email (see screenshot) makes no mention of a maximum win cap or withdrawal limit. It invited me to claim the bonus without disclosing that my winnings would be capped.

2. Predatory Wagering: The wagering requirement was an extreme 200x. I successfully wagered over €6,000 to meet this requirement, reaching a balance of €1,268.

3. The Reset: The moment the 200x wagering was completed, the system automatically voided €1,238 and reset my balance to exactly €30 (the original bonus amount).

According to the Casino Guru Fair Gambling Codex, applying a 1x cap after a 200x wagering requirement—especially when the cap was not disclosed in the promotional email—is predatory and unfair. I am requesting that the full amount of €1,268 be restored, as I have met all conditions of an offer that was presented without a win limit.

Thank you for your help.

Dear Attila, dear Splodge87,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

We have reviewed the case and would like to clarify the following.

On April 9, the player received a no-deposit bonus of €30. According to the terms of this promotion, the maximum withdrawal amount was limited to €30. These terms were provided in the promotional communication related to the bonus.

After completing the wagering requirements, the player’s winnings were adjusted in accordance with this rule, and €30 was transferred to the real balance on April 10.

For transparency, we are providing the relevant promotional materials, including the communication where these terms are specified.

Based on the above, we believe the bonus was applied correctly and in line with the stated terms.

Kind regards,

"Dear Attila,

I would like to provide a full clarification regarding the evidence presented:

1. The Terms Link

To be completely transparent, there was indeed a 'Terms and Conditions' link at the very bottom of the email. However, clicking this link does not take you to specific rules for this promotion. It redirects to the General Terms page which is divided into 20 different sections.

I have gone through these sections myself, and I still cannot find the specific rule stating a €30 maximum payout anywhere within that text. It is unreasonable to expect a player to search through 20 separate sections of text for a rule that isn't even clearly listed. This is not clear communication; the rule was effectively hidden rather than being presented with the offer.

2. The Screenshots Provided by the Casino

The screenshots submitted by Boomerang.bet actually support my argument.

• The bonus offer is shown in Portrait mode.

• The terms they are trying to enforce are shown in Landscape mode.

This confirms they are not from the same continuous page or view. I was never shown the 'Landscape' terms screen when I clicked 'Get Bonus'. They are separate pages, not part of the same flow.

3. Lack of Transparency & Predatory Terms

The email itself contained no mention of the €30 maximum win cap. The only way to find this was to click a link and hunt through 20 sections – and even then, the specific rule is not easily found.

Furthermore, the combination of requirements is inherently unfair:

• 200x Wagering: Requiring the player to bet €6,000.

• 1x Max Win: Limiting the payout to only €30.

Asking a player to invest that amount of playtime and risk for a maximum return equal to the original bonus amount is predatory. Such a significant restriction should have been written clearly in the email body, not buried away in a way that is almost impossible to locate.

4. System Validation

Finally, I would like to point out that the casino's own system allowed me to accumulate winnings of €1,268.

If the rule was truly that I could only win €30, the system should have capped my balance automatically while I was playing. The fact that it allowed me to reach that amount and only deducted it later confirms that these terms were not clearly integrated or applied during the game play.

I believe the winnings of €1,268 were confiscated based on terms that were not clearly or prominently disclosed at the point of acceptance.

Dear Splodge87,

Thank you for your detailed message and for sharing your concerns.

We would like to clarify one important point regarding the screenshots previously provided. You are correct that they appeared separated - this was done intentionally to highlight specific parts of the message. However, we understand how this could be interpreted as if the information came from different sources or screens. To clarify: all of this content was originally presented within a single communication.

We can confidently confirm that the Terms and Conditions, including the maximum win limit of €30, were included in the same email where the bonus offer was provided. This information was not separate from the promotion but part of the same message.

For full transparency, we are now attaching the complete version of the email so you can review it in its entirety and verify that all relevant terms — including the maximum win — were clearly stated there.

We take matters related to bonus terms and player communication very seriously.

Should you need any further clarification, please let us know.

Kind regards,

Boomerang-Bet Casino Team

"Thank you for your response.

I must formally disagree with your claims. I have already provided a screenshot of the actual email I received, and it does not contain the €30 maximum win limit or the additional promotional images shown in the version you attached.

The 'complete version' you have sent me is not the version that was delivered to my inbox. Therefore, the terms you are attempting to enforce were never part of the contract between us at the time I accepted the bonus.

Under fair gaming and consumer protection standards, a player is only bound by the terms presented to them at the time of the offer. Since my version of the email contains no such limit, I am requesting that my full winnings be restored immediately.

Dear Kubo,

I noticed that the deadline passed without any response from Boomerang Bet, and the timer has been reset for another 7 days.

They have already had plenty of time to answer the simple and critical question you asked: "Why does the email I received look completely different from the version the casino submitted as evidence?"

They have chosen to stay silent instead of explaining this major contradiction. This is not an oversight — it is a delay tactic. They have no valid defence because they know:

1. The email I received contained no mention of a €30 cap or maximum win limit.

2. The version they submitted is different — meaning they are trying to enforce terms that were never presented to me at the time of acceptance.

3. Even looking at their own rules (7.15 / 7.16), they contradict each other, and neither supports them paying only €30.

4. They advertised only the 200x wagering requirement, hiding the win limit — which is misleading and unfair per your own Fair Gambling Codex.

There is no new information they can provide that will change these facts. Extending the time further only prolongs an unfair situation where they benefit from stalling.

Please do not grant them more time. I ask that you make your decision now based on the evidence already provided: the terms they are trying to apply were not communicated to me, so they are not binding.

I am entitled to my full winnings of €1,268.

Dear Splodge87,

I apologize for the delay in handling your complaint.

Unfortunately, we are still awaiting the casino's response. To help move the case forward, the matter has already been escalated directly to the casino's management, and we are actively following up on it.

I understand that the waiting period can be frustrating, especially when there has been little progress recently. Please be assured that your case remains open and that we will update you immediately once we receive any new information from the casino.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Dear Kubo,

Boomerang Bet have now been given three separate time extensions to respond, yet they still have not explained why their version differs from the email I actually received. Only repeating that it is "under review" feels unnecessary now — all facts and evidence are fully on file.

No maximum win cap was shown to me at the time; only the 200x wagering requirement was advertised. Terms not clearly communicated when I accepted the offer should not be binding.

With so much time already provided, I respectfully ask that no further extensions are granted. Please make your decision based on what is proven — I believe I am owed the €1,238 that was removed.

Dear BOOMERANG BET Casino,

It has now been more than a month since you were invited to this thread regarding a straightforward inquiry. Although the response timer was reset as a goodwill gesture, considering that previous complaints have received the necessary attention from your side, we have so far only received a generic message stating that the matter is under review.

Please note that we are resetting the timer one final time. If no relevant and constructive response is provided within one week, the complaint will be closed as unresolved. This may result in a rating decrease and the removal of Casino Guru’s Fair Badge.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to your prompt and substantive response.

Dear Splodge87,

Unfortunately, as the casino has not responded within the given timeframe, we are unable to move forward with our resolution process. Without cooperation from their side, there is little more that can be done at this stage.

I will now close the complaint as unresolved.

I understand this isn't a satisfactory solution to your issue. However, the decrease in the casino's rating caused by unresolved complaints could help change their approach. If the casino decides to respond, we will reopen the complaint and you will be notified by email.

I recommend choosing casinos based on their reviews and ratings in the future to avoid situations like this.

I am sorry we could not be of more help on this occasion.

Kubo
