Summary of Complaint:
I am submitting this complaint against the online casino Bets.io, licensed under Anjouan (License No. ALSI-202410047-FI2), concerning two separate incidents involving delayed and ultimately withheld cryptocurrency withdrawals, vague communication, and recent unexplained account restrictions after a serious accusation of misconduct.
Incident 1 – Unjustified Delay of 1150 XRP Withdrawal (May 31, 2025):
On 31/05/2025 at 00:20 UTC, I submitted a withdrawal request for 1150 XRP following a routine session of virtual blackjack. The withdrawal remained pending for several days without justification.
Despite repeated attempts to get a clear update via my assigned VIP manager ("Joe"), I was told only that the "finance team is busy." No timeframe, review process, or reason was ever provided. My requests for transparency went unanswered.
The withdrawal was only processed after I escalated the matter externally — including filing complaints and preparing legal correspondence. Only then was the withdrawal released. I was later informally accused of using a "prohibited strategy," although no such strategy was ever defined, and no evidence was provided.
As this was virtual (RNG-based) blackjack, card counting or deck tracking is impossible. My approach was to increase bets modestly during win streaks and revert to base bets after losses. This is a basic manual strategy, not automation or predictive modeling.
Incident 2 – Withheld 1350 XRP & Allegation of Cheating (June 2025):
On a subsequent session in early June, I requested a withdrawal of 1350 XRP, again using the same playing strategy. The withdrawal again went into a pending state and remained unresolved for over 5 days.
After escalating to VIP support and Bets.io management with no meaningful updates, I was informed the withdrawal was being withheld due to a violation of their Anti-Fraud Policy (Clause 11), accusing me of using a "prohibited strategy."
Notably:
No explanation of the strategy or evidence of breach was ever provided.
No opportunity was given to respond or appeal.
I was not explicitly informed that my account was closed, but the 1350 XRP was subtracted from my balance, and I have since been locked out of my account with no access to support or transaction history.
I strongly deny any breach of terms. I did not use bots, automated software, or advanced algorithms. I played manually and can provide correspondence logs.
Additional Context:
I previously contacted the Anjouan Gaming Control Authority and Anjouan Licensing Services, and advised them to disregard my earlier complaint when the May issue was resolved — they indicated they were still open to reviewing my experiences further.
I have also prepared detailed reviews and transcripts for publication on crypto forums, review platforms, and with blockchain compliance firms, though I held off on releasing them to allow time for resolution.
This repeated pattern of delay, accusation without evidence, and lack of accountability from Bets.io has caused considerable distress.
Requested Resolution:
Immediate release of the withheld 1350 XRP to my wallet (address available upon request).
A formal clarification of the accusation and the grounds for subtracting funds.
Reinstatement of account access, or a full statement confirming closure along with final account balance reconciliation.
Should this matter be resolved promptly and fairly, I am willing to close all open complaints and cease further action. If not, I will proceed with legal support and share my experience with the wider crypto and iGaming community.
