Failed self-exclusion

Black points: 6,664

Amonbet Casino
Safety Index 2.1 Very low

Case summary

The player from the United Kingdom had repeatedly requested self-exclusion from the casino over 100 times in the past 6-7 months due to a gambling problem, having lost more than 10k. His requests had been consistently ignored by the casino. He also confirmed that he had passed verification in mid-February and that his account was still open, while the casino kept replying with promotional messages instead of processing the ban. We were unable to secure cooperation from the casino, which had a history of no reaction and failed self-exclusion cases, so the complaint was closed as unresolved and marked to negatively affect the casino’s safety rating.

Hello,

Thank you very much for submitting this complaint. I'm sorry to hear about the problem you're experiencing. Please allow me to ask you a few questions to clarify your situation.

  • Have you only received responses from VIP@amonbet.com to your requests starting March 30th?
  • When did you pass verification in the casino?
  • Is your account still open, or has the casino closed it in the meantime?

In the meantime, check other resources and information in our responsible gambling guide found here: https://casino.guru/responsible-gambling-guide, including ways to reduce your exposure to online gambling, such as blocking software and apps.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards

Tomas

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

I have received responses from late Feb 2026 until now from vip@amonbet.com and I have also contacted the support email and live chats more than I can remember. The reply is always I will be contacted and when I do they just say " we you sure you want to ban yourself ? Here is a promotion, have a real think about it".

I passed the casino verification mid February, the account is still very much opened.

Many thanks for the help

Dear Ggllp,

We have reached a point where we would contact the casino and ask for cooperation regarding your case. Since this casino has a multitude of cases closed as 'No Reaction Policy' and several cases as 'Failed Self-Exclusion ', we are forced to close your complaint prematurely. I’m afraid there is not much that can be achieved without cooperation from their side. I will mark the complaint as "unresolved" in our system, and it will negatively impact their future safety rating on our website as such. I understand this isn't a satisfactory solution to your issue at all. However, the decrease in the rating caused by unresolved complaints might help to change the casino's approach in the future and dissuade other players who look for a review from playing there. If the casino decides to react, we will reopen the complaint, and you will be notified by email.

As a next step, normally I would recommend you contact the proper Gaming Authority and submit a complaint with them. However, since the casino has no licence, there is nowhere else I can refer you to.

I would strongly recommend blocking all the email addresses and numbers sending you promotional materials from this casino; then, as a next step, installing blocking software such as https://betblocker.org/ onto your computer and mobile devices to keep you safe from online gambling sites while browsing the internet. It's free, and for maximum protection, it is recommended to have a good friend or a family member set the app's password for you. Alternative blocking software and other strategies on how to reduce your exposure to online gambling can be found in our article on the topic: https://casino.guru/responsible-gambling-guide/responsible-gambling#apps-and-tools

I am really sorry I could not be of more help on this occasion.

Best regards,

Tomas
