I want to preface this by saying I am not someone who leaves reviews lightly. I am a British male in my mid 50s with extensive experience in online gambling. I understand the risks, I accept losses, and I approached Amonbet with my eyes wide open. This review is not written in anger — it is written to inform.
I was a member of Amonbet for 6-7 weeks, achieving VIP status. Here is my honest and detailed account of that experience. Withdrawals — the real story
Depositing at Amonbet is completely frictionless. One click, instant, no questions asked. Withdrawing your own money is a completely different experience and I do not believe that contrast is accidental.
Every withdrawal attempt triggered a new verification request. Bank statements, screenshots, transaction proofs — requested repeatedly and not just once. On one occasion my withdrawal was rejected four times before finally being approved and paid within 24 hours. So they are capable of paying quickly — when they choose to.
What makes this process particularly frustrating is that Amonbet process payments through obscure third party processors. My Apple Pay deposits appeared on my HSBC bank statement not as Amonbet but as TSHPAI. Withdrawals appeared as Kryptonim. These names mean nothing to a bank compliance team and create unnecessary complications during verification — complications that ultimately delay your money reaching you.
As a VIP member my weekly withdrawal limit was £5,000. In my opinion this limit is deliberately designed to keep your money inside the platform as long as possible rather than in your pocket where it belongs.
The VIP programme — reality vs promises I was assigned a personal VIP manager which initially felt reassuring. However I quickly noticed that her responses were clearly AI generated — warm and professional in tone but entirely devoid of specific or useful information. Generic reassurances, template responses, nothing concrete. When I asked about my VIP tier and progression I was told to refresh my browser. My account VIP section showed a "Join" button despite me already being a VIP member. Nobody could tell me my tier name, my progress toward the next level or what I needed to do to access better withdrawal limits. The VIP programme is presented as exclusive and prestigious — the reality is it lacks any meaningful transparency or substance.
Licensing and player protection Amonbet operates under a Curacao licence and is not regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. As a UK player this means: ∙ No access to UKGC dispute resolution ∙ No ombudsman to escalate complaints to ∙ No obligation to honour self exclusion requests meaningfully ∙ No real recourse if things go wrong There is no proper self exclusion facility. If you reach a point where you want to stop — and I would encourage anyone to think carefully about this before starting — you are largely on your own.
Finally, once registered, expect a lot of spam to your phone from other random casinos offering bonuses. Following my registration, I now receive up to 10 messages daily with offers. Surely not just con-incidental!!
My conclusion I am not claiming Amonbet never pays — they did pay me on previous occasions.
