Read full reviewBook of Demi Gods II is a kind of stripped down version of Spinomenal’s flagship series of Demi God slots. It reused some of the artwork from the bigger, fancier Demi Gods games, including background art and some of the symbols. All downsized for a smaller gig on a smaller game.
That said, the Greek Gods make wonderful source material for slot machines. And Spinomenal’s take on them is fun, unique, and more than a little bit sexy.
You can’t have too much of a good thing.
The visuals are one of the big selling points of Book of Demi Gods II. The artwork for the backgrounds is dramatic and beautiful. All done in that style of digital art that mimics closely the look of oil paintings.
The animations are clear and flashy, and are accompanied with dramatic sound effects that are varied and exciting.
The music, too, is upscale. A movie theme style orchestral soundtrack that is atmospheric and unique, but ambient enough so as to fade into the background rather than grate on the ears.
Compared to the other Demi Gods games, Book of Demi Gods II is pretty straightforward from a gameplay standpoint. Gone are the multiple bonus types, the maps, and the random features.
Instead, Book of Demi Gods II has five reels, three rows and ten win lines. There is no gamble feature and just the one bonus feature.
So it is more or less your standard slot, despite its fancy pedigree.
The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols.
The Wild also serves as a scatter paying out for three or more symbols anywhere on the reels. In addition to payouts from any winning combos or scatter payouts, three or more Wild symbols will also trigger 10 free spins.
Before the free spins start, the player must spin a wheel that picks which symbol will be the Expanding Symbol for the duration of the free spins. When this symbol lands on a reel, it will expand to fill that reel.
Free spins can be retriggered, awarding ten more free spins when this happens.
You can also buy your way into the Bonus feature directly for x100 of your bet per spin.
