Every extraneous feature has been pared off leaving a simple, streamlined, and actually pretty stylish game.
Everything about this slot is minimalist. It has just three symbols, three reels, and a single winline. Even the help section entries seem almost sarcastically short.
For something so basic, a lot of attention has gone into the looks of the Fa Fa Fa. The background is a classy dark pattern animated with fireflies in the foreground, the reel spins are smooth and the three symbols (each the same Chinese character in a different colour) are nicely designed.
The sound effects are similarly stripped back to just a short tune as the reels turn and a simple winning sting.
It all works well with the theme and although none of it is complicated, it is effective.
The gameplay is simple. Spin the reels to change the combinations of symbols and blank spaces on the win line. If you get three symbols on the line you win. Five times your bet if you land three of different colours; twenty-five for three greens; fifty for three blues and one hundred for three reds.
That’s it.
