Case summary

The player from Germany, who had self-excluded due to gambling addiction, was able to register and deposit at Tritium Casino and Cristalpoker despite being blocked in the Versus odds b.v. network. Attempts to contact the casinos' support teams for resolutions had received no response. We had explained that Curacao-licensed casinos did not require self-exclusion across all platforms under the same ownership and had requested proof of self-exclusion requests directly to Tritium Casino. The player had confirmed account closure but lacked evidence of a network-wide ban. A refund from Cristalpoker was processed, but there was no response from Tritium. The complaint was rejected due to the lack of a direct self-exclusion request to Tritium.

Hi,

I have been blocked from the entire Versus odds b.v. group network because of gambling addiction.

I have also done this with almost all other groups and online casino providers and it has worked quite well so far.

I was unable to register at some casinos in the versus odds B.V. group, e.g. powerbet777 and Kryptosino, due to this block. Very good, the block works.

However, I was able to register at Tritium Casino (€255 deposits) and Cristalpoker Casino (€20) yesterday evening on June 28th, verify myself, make deposits and play. I was triggered by casino promotion emails.

I have sent an email to both of the casinos' support addresses, but have not received any confirmation that it has arrived or is being processed.

So I wanted to open a case here as a precaution.

Dear Marco123,

Thank you very much for submitting this complaint. I'm sorry to hear about your problem.

The company Versus Odds B.V. operates several casinos under the Antillephone License issued by Curacao. There is currently no way to self-exclude from all Curacao-licensed casinos at once. You must self-exclude at each casino individually. Although Antillephone N.V. licensed casinos must offer players the opportunity to self-exclude, there does not appear to be a specific procedure in place so the only options are to check the casino's website or to contact the casino operator and ask them for instructions.

Have you requested self-exclusion directly from Tritium Casino and Cristalpoker Casino? If you have, please forward me the emails you sent to these casinos. My email address is veronika.l@casino.guru.

I hope we will be able to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards

Veronika

Hello,

thanks for taking up my case.

I have permanently closed both accounts (Tritium and Cristalpoker).

My main concern is that I have excluded myself from the entire Versus Odds network, just like I did with other networks like Dama, Rabidi, Hollycorn, etc. It's all working out fine.

At least I had confirmation in a live chat on one of the Versus Odds platforms that I was now also blocked from the network there. I can't say which platform it was exactly. Wolfy Casino, Hazcasino or Blacklion Casino are possible options. At least I couldn't register on the Powerbet777 and Kryptosino platforms after the confirmation in the live chat. So the ban for the entire Versus Odds network was working at the time.

I am currently trying to clarify whether a refund of the losses (255€ Tritium & 20€ Cristalpoker) is possible, since the ban did not work as I would have liked. It only concerns these two platforms.

Hello,

I now assume that there will be no solution.

The casinos are not responding at all. There is no response, neither whether my email has been received nor whether it is being processed. Not even that the case has been rejected.

The live chat told me that my case is with the finance department. 0 response to my email inquiry.

I have never experienced anything like this with any casino provider before, that you are completely ignored.

Dear Marco123,

I mentioned in my previous response that licenses issued by Curacao do not request the casinos to self-exclude players from all casinos under the same ownership. Consequently, we can only assist you with refunds for deposits made after you requested self-exclusion from Tritium Casino directly due to gambling addiction. Therefore, I need to know the exact date when you requested self-exclusion from Tritium Casino and ask you to forward the email containing your self-exclusion request. Additionally, please specify if you made any deposits into the casino after your self-exclusion request, including the dates and amounts of those deposits.

Hello,

the last deposit at Tritium Casino was made on June 29th at 02:21 CEST; UTC+02:00.

After that, I permanently closed the account in my player profile. The casino does not send a notification about this block.

I realize that the casinos are not obliged to block all accounts belonging to the same owner. However, some offer it, such as Dama, Rabidi, Hollycorn, etc...

So a few months ago I also asked Versus Odds to block me from the entire Versus Odds network so that I cannot register or make deposits on any of the Versus Odds platforms. It worked on some platforms.

This block was communicated in a live chat from another platform of the provider. I have no proof of this block. Only the provider can check this now.

I just received another promotional email from Cristalpoker Casino today, even though I am blocked there.

I am opening the same case again at Cristalpoker Casino, since only Tritium Casino is discussed here, but is not yet officially listed.

I received a response that the refund from Cristalpoker Casino is on the way.

Tritium has not responded yet.

You are correct that sometimes casinos choose to refund lost deposits to a player with a gambling problem, even when the licensing authority does not require them to exclude the player from all casinos owned by the same company. In these instances, the decision to refund the lost deposits is entirely up to the goodwill of the casino, and we do not intervene with this decision.

Since you did not inform Tritium Casino of your addiction and you did not request to be self-excluded, we are unable to assist you retrieve the lost funds.

This complaint will now be rejected. Thank you for your understanding, I am sorry we could not be of more help on this occasion. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you run into any issues with this or any other casino in the future.
