A pair of quasi-anonymous players made history once again in Las Vegas last Friday after they won $2,000,000 playing the Wheel of Fortune slot game on one of the busiest gaming floors on The Strip.
The couple wagered $3 and turned the bet into an eye-watering seven-figure payday while visiting the Palms Casino Resort. They did not have to wait long to turn the random bet into the coveted payout.

The players are said to have only placed a single $3 bet, reminiscent of some of the most recent jackpot stories that came from The Strip. Publicizing the win on the Palms Casino Resort's Facebook & Twitter social media pages, the casino showed a whole bunch of people for the photo-op, and supposedly the winners themselves.
The winner was reportedly a bartender visiting from Texas and her boyfriend, surrounded by a group of friends who were joining them on the trip it appeared. Of course, the pair did not walk away with the $2,000,000 jackpot, as all such payouts are subject to federal tax, but they have still claimed a hefty chunk of the total.
Another player won earlier in July, turning a $60 wager into a $1,935,806.31 payday. The player tried their luck at the Buffalo Power Pay slot machine, which turned out to be a success.
