The leading online sports betting and gaming operator in Africa, Mojabet, announced a new partnership agreement. Last week, the company confirmed it teamed up with the professional football team Olympique de Marseille.

Under the terms of the new collaboration, the company was designated as the official African betting partner of the team. As a result, Mojabet will hold this role for six years, making the term of the collaboration effective between 2022 and 2028. Thanks to the new collaboration between Olympique de Marseille and Mojabet, fans and bettors alike will benefit from a platform that will deliver engaging experiences. Ultimately, the duo seeks to create new sporting synergies.

In a statement released on February 24, 2023, Olympique de Marseille's Strategy and Development General Manager, Pedro Iriondo, shared his excitement saying that the team is delighted to join forces with Mojabet for the African region. "We believe Mojabet will be an ideal partner for the club, and together we will be able to reach and engage more with our fan base in Africa," he said.

Additionally, Iriondo pointed out that Olympique de Marseille is looking forward to developing its deal with Mojabet to deliver unique content for its growing fan base. "This partnership demonstrates our commitment to continuing the club's history with the African continent," said the Strategy and Development General Manager in conclusion.

In celebration of the new deal, Mojabet announced the launch of OM8, a new competition that challenges fans to answer weekly questions. The users need to answer a total of eight questions a week that involve upcoming fixtures. This gives them a chance of winning OM memorabilia, as well as other prizes including cash.

Additionally, thanks to the new collaboration, Mojabet will benefit from Digital Overlay technology. The company explained that this technology "targets audiences in the region by geo-location ads displayed on the Club's LED screens." The aforementioned technology can be used by Mojabet for all Ligue 1 matches in Africa that are played at the Orange Velodrome.

MOJA Group's CEO, Paris Anatolitis, was also excited about the new collaboration with Olympique de Marseille. He outlined that the club is recognized globally and at the same time "has deep roots within the African football landscape and communities." Anatolitis acknowledged that Mojabet also holds a leadership position in the continent and plans to grow further.

"OM is the perfect strategic partner for us to help us nurture even stronger fan connections through unique live experiences, and complement our highly engaging online betting opportunities," added MOJA Group's CEO. In conclusion, Anatolitis said that the OM8 competition "offers a glimpse of the engaging initiatives we'll be running to give something back to our customers."
