Sports betting and gaming brand 10bet has announced that it is launching in the South Africanmarket, Casino Guru News can report based on an email press release. The company, which has 20 years of experience and was founded back in 2003, has been able to operate on some of the biggest international markets over the past two decades.

10bet is presently building up its footprint in the region, having previously entered other prominent markets, including Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia, and it is not slowing down. The company is one of the first serious operators to make its intentions about the African region and betting market known.

Others include 888 Holdings, which launched the 888Africa brand to rapidly scale its presence across the region as well. As to 10bet, the company’s dedicated sportsbook features more than 2,000 betting markets, upward of 25,000 live events every month, and so many sports that are covered in real time.

The company also has a dedicated gaming platform, which features more than 300 online casino games by suppliers such as Evolution, Yggdrasil, and NetEnt, among others. The launch in the South African market comes along with a dedicated 10bet app which is available for various mobile devices, and which will make it even easier for consumers in the market to access all of the supported features, products and content.

Commenting on this launch, 10bet Africa PR and CSR Manager Zanele Nhlapo shared the enthusiasm that the company felt for the new launch in a yet another crucial regional market:

"We are focused on investing considerably into the market to ensure we serve the South African betting consumer with a world class product, using globally recognized technology as well as local partnerships and integrations with key players in the market to build a platform that best serves our customers here."

Nhlapo confirmed that 10bet is going to make a number of investments in various communities across South Africa to make sure that it aligns itself with a clearCSR initiative focused on sports, infrastructure, and sports education. The representative confirmed that 10bet’s ambition was to be a long-term member of the sports betting community in South Africa.

South Africa is shaping up as a new frontier for sportsbooks that are keen to make sure they benefit from the early legalization of key markets and establish a strong footprint in the region to begin with. 10bet began its African sports betting expansion back in February and has been keeping a steady pace ever since.
