The global gaming and entertainment company, MGM Resorts International, announced a strategic senior-level appointment.
On Thursday, the company renowned for its national and international best-in-class hotels and casinos, confirmed the appointment of Ari Kastrati to the role of Chief Content, Hospitality and Development Officer.
A statement released by MGM Resorts confirms that the appointment is effective immediately.
In his new role, Kastrati will be in charge of the company's global design and development efforts.
The executive will oversee entertainment, as well as sports-related partnerships for MGM Resorts.
In addition, Kastrati will help grow the company's hospitality strategy with a particular emphasis on the development of food and beverage and nightlife concepts.
As Chief Content, Hospitality and Development Officer, he will also help lead MGM Resort's leasing, retail, lifestyle and arts division.
Kastrati shared his excitement: "MGM Resorts is continuing to extend into some of the world's most exciting luxury destinations, and I am thrilled to play a bigger role in our growth."
Finally, the executive pointed out: "It's an honor to not just grow within the Company but serve in an expanded leadership role, and I look forward to helping the company redefine the gaming entertainment experience for our guests, in Las Vegas and globally."
In his new role as Chief Content, Hospitality and Development Officer at MGM Resorts, Kastrati will serve on the company's Executive Committee.
He will report to MGM Resorts' President and CEO, Bill Hornbuckle.
Speaking about the new Chief Content, Hospitality and Development Officer, Hornbuckle said: "Ari has long played an integral role in making MGM Resorts the world's premier gaming entertainment Company."
Moreover, the company's President and CEO acknowledged Kastrati's extensive experience within the entertainment vertical.
Hornbuckle added that the new Chief Content, Hospitality and Development Officer has a track record in helping operators deliver unrivaled experiences for their customers in important markets across the globe, including in Las Vegas.
Kastrati first joined MGM Resorts more than 10 years ago in 2010.
Since then, he has held important senior-level roles, including most recently Chief Hospitality Officer.
While he held that role, Kastrati played a pivotal part in the development and implementation of the company's leading portfolio of dining and nightlife locations.
Overall, Kastrati has more than 25 years of experience within the gaming and hospitality industry, making him an invaluable asset to MGM Resorts.
