A partnership between two companies

EveryMatrix is now set to proceed with the purchase of game developer Fantasma Games after the tech company announced that it would be buying out the company for a sum total of €18.5m in mid-September, Casino Guru News learned in an email press release.

Shareholders greenlight M&A deal with EveryMatrix

EveryMatrix offered a SEK59 or €5.21 buyout price per share but had to wait for shareholder approval for the NASDAQ First North Growth Market Sweden-listed company, with Fantasma Games AB shareholders giving a greenlight to the deal.

This means that EveryMatrix will now add a second in-house studio to Armadillo Studios, its game-arm maker, and will expand beyond its speciality as an aggregator and platform provider for the iGaming industry.

SlotMatrix, EveryMatrix’s game aggregator, already features more than 29,000 games from north of 350 studios and works with some of the leaders in the sector, including DraftKings, BetMGM, LeoVegas, and many others.

Commenting on the new development, EveryMatrix Co-Founder and Group CEO Ebbe Groes said that he was pleased with the opportunity to proceed with the merger & acquisition deal. The deal is funded fully from the company’s cash flow, signaling the good financial standing that EveryMatrix is currently enjoying.

"Fantasma’s games are recognized by the world’s largest operators and their players as among the very best both from a performance and an experience perspective. Its games production output is seriously impressive, as is their management and staff who have created a business that consistently generates remarkable financial results," Groes added hopeful about the future.

As to Fantasma Games, Company CEO and Founder Fredrik Johansson was excited to be embarking on this new opportunity, and was happy to see the studio continue to grow and prepare for what is a new growth phase.

"We not only share a common passion for innovation, but also a deep understanding of what it takes to create gaming experiences that truly engage and entertain players in a unique way. EveryMatrix has a strong technical platform and extensive experience in fostering successful collaborations within the gaming industry, which makes us feel confident that together we can take our game development to new height," he mused.

EveryMatrix continues to expand its portfolio and offer

EveryMatrix first approached the company, offering to buy out the studio on September 18. Fantasma Games said it would seek shareholders’ approval before confirming whether it would accept the acquisition. With the deal now set to continue, EveryMatrix is pursuing further growth opportunities of its own with North America of particular importance to the company.

Shortly after the proposal, EveryMatrix revealed the LoyaltyEngine solution designed to help partner businesses amplify their reach, retention, and engagement.
