EveryMatrix tables €18.5m buyout offer for Fantasma Games

EveryMatrix, a multi-platform sports and iGaming technology company, has tabled a SEK209.8m offer for Fantasma Games, a prominent online developer of games for the casino sector, Casino Guru News learned in an email press release.

EveryMatrix set to boost development capacity with Fantasma Games

The offer comes to €18.5m at current exchange rates with EveryMatrix seeking to acquire the prominent and publicly listed studio. EveryMatrix’s offer will be available from Thursday, September 19, 2024, through October 10, 2024.

Fantasma Games could make an important addition to yet another part of EveryMatrix’s portfolio the company is keen on expanding – its own game-development capabilities, after EveryMatrix repeatedly reaped record-setting quarters.

The company’s presence in iGaming has been established by both its CasinoEngine and SlotMatrix platforms, two powerful that have driven strong financial windfall for the company as well as sterling results for more than 250 partnerbusinesses.

Now, the company is strengthening its own development capacity with the potential addition of Fantasma Games which will join another EveryMatrix-owned studio, Armadillo Studios.

Fantasma Games in a strong financial position and bid likely to be accepted

Fantasma Games has been maintaining a steadfast profit margin with the company generating €395,000 in EBITDA for Q2, and realizing a 36% profit margin, one of the best. So far, 50% of Fantasma Games’ shareholders have found the offer by EveryMatrix to be worthwhile.

EveryMatrix is buying Fantasma Games shares at SEK 59 or €5.21 per share. In order for the bid to pass, 90% of shareholders would have to accept the offer.
