BMM Testlabs confirms promotion of Zeena Rossouw to SVP of Africa role

The longest-established and most experienced private independent gaming certification lab in the world, BMM Testlabs, announced a new senior-level appointment. The company confirmed Monday that it promoted Zeena Rossouw to the strategic role of Senior Vice President, Africa. As an expert with extensive experience, she initially joined the company back in 2018. Since then, Rossouw held the role of Vice President of Operations and Sales.

Now, upon accepting the new role, she will transition to her new responsibilities. As Senior Vice President of Africa, Rossouw will oversee key processes related to the company's growth and presence in the region. In her new role, she will report to BMM Testlabs' Executive Vice President and General Manager for the Asian Pacific and African regions, Kirk White, reveals a statement released by the company.

Sharing her excitement, Rossouw said she is delighted to fill in the new senior-level role for the region while more "regulated gambling markets emerge." She added: "My experience working in several key areas of the industry has provided me with extensive compliance and technical knowledge covering local and regional markets."

Rossouw said that she will leverage her extensive experience to help propel BMM Testlabs' growth in the region and engage with new clients. Finally, she pointed out: "My team works hard to ensure that BMM remains the most customer-focused and most knowledgeable independent testing laboratory servicing in the African gambling market today."

Currently, BMM Testlabs is known as the longest-established and most experienced private independent gaming certification lab. The company has been operating and providing regulatory compliance and professional technical services for the gambling sector since 1981. BMM Testlabs helped authorize the first independent gaming standards in 1992, while in 2001, the same was applied to the online gambling sector. With more than 500 employees, currently, the company has a presence in 13 different locations around the globe. More than 470 gambling jurisdictions rely on BMM Testlabs' services.

Sharing his excitement about the latest senior-level promotion, Kirk White, the company's Executive Vice President and General Manager APAC & AF, said: "With a passion for excellence and a career spanning over 30 years in the gambling industry, Zeena has developed to become a leading figure in the African gambling market." He explained that she holds an important role in the region by providing much-needed support and advice for gambling operators.

White added: "This is especially true when new products are being introduced to African gambling jurisdictions." Finally, he explained that Rossouw has been a part of BMM Testlabs for more than five years and has become an important asset to the company.
