How should Alberta players check if an operator is actually live?

For Alberta players, I think one important safer-gambling step is checking whether an operator is actually live/available in Alberta, not only mentioned in market news or listed somewhere.

The confusing part is that "listed" or "pre-registration" can be read by players as "already live", but those are not always the same thing.

listed / registry status
