Gladiatoro - a game that doesn't work the way it should!

Here's a game called Gladiatoro from ELK Games! I actually like many ELK Games titles—especially the older ones—but with this one, they've really shot themselves in the foot! Literally.

Anyone familiar with the game will have noticed this at some point, and for others, here's a brief explanation of the game!

I won't explain the free play (bonus game) now, because it already works.

But this game has certain bonus elements that it brings to the table.

For example, as in WILD TORO (by ELK Games), emperors land on reels 2, 3, and 4. If two land, an extra spin occurs immediately after that spin. Now, a bull (toro) can land on the last reel and runs towards all the emperors, leaving a trail of wild animals along the way—just like in Wild Toro!

The problem is, a bull never lands at the gate. The event takes place, no question about it, but a bull never lands there. Or rather, one has never been seen. And I've had thousands of chances to find the bull, but nothing. The only one who occasionally lands there is the coin collector, who, as the name suggests, collects coins.

The problem with the coin collector is that the more coins there are on the field, the smaller the chance of him appearing - strangely enough, the bull appears more often!

So the game has a bug—and I've already reported this to several casinos—end result: zero. They don't care! So how is it possible that a game with such an obvious bug isn't removed?

Thanks for the description of this game. But I can’t say why casinos don’t remove it if the game has a bug. The best thing would be to check with the game provider to see if it’s okay or if it’s really something that shouldn’t be there. Casinos might not even pay attention to such things, or rather, I can imagine they wouldn’t pay attention even if a player told them. 

On the other hand, I have no idea if the game provider would even respond to something like this. But I’d probably give it a try. Have you tried?

It's hard to do anything about it if the casino isn't interested. I probably wouldn't play this game if I saw the bug you described. That's probably the only way.🙁

Yes, but every reputable casino should still be mindful of helping its customers. And they should look into alleged problems or complaints. So how reputable is a casino if they know there have been complaints about some slots, yet they don't bother to fix them by contacting the provider?

I would definitely expect the same from a casino, that if there are repeated issues with a specific slot or multiple games affecting multiple players, they should investigate it with the game provider.

From a player’s perspective, it doesn’t make sense if the casino just responds with generic explanations instead of actually looking into the root cause or escalating it properly. Ideally, you would want a clear explanation, not just something that is written quickly as a standard reply.

So if such issues are persistent and you have evidence that they are affecting you financially, you can absolutely submit a complaint to us as well. I can’t guarantee what the outcome would be in every case, but I agree that it is important that casinos at least investigate these situations properly and communicate with the game provider when needed.
