Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you still play NetEnt slots.

I haven’t played them in a while, but I thought I’d give them another try. Apparently, something has happened to their games.

I’m not crying over losses. I accept them, and I know that every time you play, you’re going to lose 8 out of 10 times. But their games aren’t even worth playing anymore. Absolutely nothing happens, just a few tiny wins here and there, and when you finally hit a bonus, it barely pays 50x.

I got a 20x win on Gonzo’s Quest free spins, and the whole screen lit up with BIG WIN while that shyti Gonzo was collecting gold 🤣

How pathetic is NetEnt? They have so little to offer that a 20x win has become a BIG WIN…

Ever since Evolution bought NetEnt, they’ve ruined the games, unfortunately. It’s actually a shame because between 2010 and 2016, NetEnt was a solid and innovative game developer. But now, most of their games seem like complete garbage.

Does anyone here play these slots regularly? What do you think? Have you noticed any changes in the games?

I get what you mean, especially about the "BIG WIN" labels. A 20x win being presented like something huge can feel a bit ridiculous if you remember older slots being more restrained with that kind of presentation.

I think part of it is also that newer slot design has changed a lot over the years. More emphasis is often put on animations, bonus features and big-win presentation, while the actual session can still feel very dry for long stretches.

Which older NetEnt games do you think still hold up well today?

And apart from Gonzo’s Quest, are there any specific NetEnt titles where you noticed the biggest change compared with how they used to feel?

I only play their older slots, like Gonzo’s Quest and Flowers. I’ve noticed they’ve added loads of near-misses and bonus teasers. Honestly, it’s a ridiculous amount.

Even when you finally trigger a bonus, like on Gonzo’s Quest, it feels completely pointless. I triggered the bonus 8 times on a €10 bet, and the highest win was only €310, which is 31x. Pathetic when it can take 300–400 spins just to trigger the bonus.

I’ll stick to Amatic instead, where you can actually hit 400–500x in a regular base game.

Which provider do you like, and what do you usually play the most?
