Hello everyone,
I would like to initiate a fundamental discussion about the player protection practices of the casino group around Winnerz, Trickz, HypeKasino, Wisho and Celebrino (Hitz Gaming OÜ / Feature Buy Ltd).
Players typically have two options available in the profile settings of these sites:
1. A temporary break / pause (e.g. 1, 2 or 7 days).
2. The "Block" / "Lock Account" button for an indefinite or permanent block in the system.
From the perspective of responsible gaming, this raises two main problems:
1. Premature termination of a temporary leave of absence:
If a player decides to self-exclude for, say, 7 days, the system should block the account for that period without exception. Is it legal or justifiable for a casino to prematurely lift this chosen cooling-off period at the player's request? This defeats the purpose of the function as an emergency brake.
2. Unlocking after the actual account block:
When a player uses the "Block Account" / "Lock Account" button, they expect a permanent and irrevocable closure. However, in practice, customer service departments of offshore casinos (or those with Anjouan/Curaçao licenses) often offer the option to reactivate the account after a short cooling-off period. Shouldn't clicking the final block button automatically mean that the account can never be reactivated – regardless of what the player says later?
How does the Casino Guru community and the complaints team rate this approach with providers like Winnerz, Trickz, or HypeKasino? Have you had any experience with whether bans are consistently enforced with this group or relaxed upon request?
I look forward to hearing your opinions and experiences!
