Does anyone know how global self excluded works? I want to block myself from all casinos.

Unfortunately there's not such a possible to block yourself from all casinos, but we also believe it's something that many players would appreciate. That's why we also work on a project that should enable this in the future. If you're interested in more info about the global self-exclusion, take a look at this topic.

If I'm not wrong, Gamblock does that (it isn't free if I'm not wrong), I have never used such tools. Netnanny can block betting sites. Found some options, betblocker seems to be free, take a look at https://www.begambleaware.org/gambling-blocking-software

You can ask your bank to stop you from making payments to gambling sites online

The thing is, you can still deposit money into casinos by other means like e-wallets, either making deposits with cards to said wallets or exchanging e-wallet balances P2P or crypto, you would simply approach a bitcoin ATM and buy crypto to gamble, so that's a partial solution, while getting all betting sites blocked on all devices is a bit more efficient, combining all restrictions would be ideal, along with proper therapy

Usually, the block works only on properly licensed casinos or casinos that are already part of the tool. The way I see it, this is the most limiting part. Based on this limit, to be able to block yourself from every casino, all casinos need to be united under one initiative, tool, or app. Extremely challenging goal. 🙁

I thought the blocking was done by the blocking software simply registering every casino or casino-related site blocking them on each browser, so casino cooperation wouldn't be neccessary as the blocking is done unilaterally by the software (functioning like a parental control that blocks any site matching certain criteria). Like betblocker that supposedly blocks thousands of sites, I suppose unregulated and Curacao casinos included, would be good to test it out and try to access a Curacao casino to see if it's useful for problem gamblers

Honestly, it sounds so good to be true.

Now that I'm thinking of it - I'm sure such an "addon" or application would be easy to trick by creating a new browser account, for instance. My point is that the restriction must be outside the user's grip to ensure problem gamblers can't pass through once excluded - in the casino preferably.

What you describe sounds like a useful solution for let's say, leisure players.

Do you know what I mean?

If I had the money I would sue Netents/Evolution for more than just my losses on the slot I stupidly paid they claim a 96.6 RTP the reason for the rant was I had 83 dead spins at £1 in a row which took me down to 000!! They also claim it's an RNG I think it's something far more sinister that works online slots.

Yours faithfully

You’d be much better in focusing your anger towards staying away from them to be honest.

I spent years in the same position as you. It’s taken many repeated relapses to get to the point I’m at now. Which is were I don’t gamble anymore.

Im now more interested in trying to help people break free from the living hell that I once was a part of and I find that much more rewarding than spending hours blitzing every penny I had on shite online slot games. Which as you say are supposed to be a RNG.. but it’s funny how they more often randomly generate losses as opposed to big wins 🙄

I say the above as my own opinion and if you don’t wish to not gamble then of course that is your choice.

Feel free to reach out if you need any help / advice or just general chatting / ranting😀

Simon V will pass you my direct contact details if you’d rather anything be private👍🏻

Take it easy Nigel

Cheers Charlie 😁 I know I should give up as I have an addictive personality and as I don't work I have too much time on my hands 😫 Once I start unless I win say £300 I get locked in to playing and all my reason and logical thought goes out the window. I'm going to try again this month from the 17th to pack it in completely let's see if I can stick to my stance.😜

Yes I’m the same mate. Addictive personality and when you start you’re locked in. That is absolutely spot on!

Well good luck if you do decide to pack it in. It can be beaten. I’m living proof it can. Never in a million years did I think I would ever be able to stop and to leave it alone.

Always here if you need me mate.

Take it easy and have a good bank holiday weekend! Hopefully Slot free 🤗
