So, after 5 years of using GAMSTOP to help prevent me from gambling is finally over. I am in a sticky situation really. I tend to find myself playing on Casinos that are not protected by GAMSTOP. So with this in mind I feel the safest thing to do its set really low limits on deposits. I am not looking for advice, just wondering what any ones thoughts are and how would you handle this situation.

Hey, five years is a long time, and if I'm honest, that's the part I'd focus on most.

GAMSTOP ending doesn't necessarily change much by itself, perhaps you are somewhere.else now. 🙂

Maybe the bigger question is how you feel about gambling today compared to five years ago and whether you still feel the need for external barriers to stay in control.

You already mentioned that you sometimes find yourself playing at casinos outside the scheme, which suggests GAMSTOP was never the complete solution on its own. If setting very low limits helps you stay comfortable and in control, that sounds reasonable. Is it a safe enough option for you?

Whatever you decide, the fact that you're thinking about it before jumping in is probably a very good sign. 🙂

So I did splash out quite a bit. Back on gamstop now so it doesn't get to out of hand.
