POLL: How do you usually react when you hit a losing streak?

Sooner or later every player runs into a losing streak. One session everything seems fine… and the next one it feels like nothing hits no matter what you try.

Some players take a break, others switch games or lower their bets. And some just keep spinning, convinced the streak has to turn eventually.

So, we're curious: how do you usually react when a losing streak hits? 🙂

Sometimes I raise bets, but usually I just change games.

Could you perhaps explain to others why you do so?

Not everyone gets the point of doing so, I believe.

And if I may add: This kind of playing behaviour is pretty risky in my opinion. 🤷‍♀️

It's a form of loss-chasing, but I enjoy a little bit of risky play.

I might bet small at first, so even after raising my bet is pretty small for my balance. I can handle the loss if it doesn't work out. I never bet too much on slots relative to my balance.

First option: take a break, second: switch to another casino, third: just change games within the same casino.

Hola Jaro, switch games more often is what i do, Games played previusly i mean i know them. most of the time i won small amounts but i try no to loose more than what i have won before, if so i take a break.

Sure, that makes perfect sense, I’d say. I think the best advice is what you mentioned in the second part—not to lose more than you’ve won. That’s a pretty responsible approach.

Which casino do you play at most often these days?

Thanks Jaro, there are three casinos where I play the most: CALIENTE CASINO, SPORTIUM and CODERE, in that order, but Caliente casino is definitely my favorite.

I have to say that I didn't think the votes would be so even. When it comes to challenges that don't involve gambling, I usually push harder when things go wrong, so I guess my potential vote here wouldn't be very responsible at all. 😄

Great, do you set any limits for yourself when it comes to making sure you don’t lose more than you win? By that I mean, do you set a deposit or loss limit? Is that possible at these casinos? Or do you just make sure to keep yourself in check so you don’t go overboard? 🙂

I usually set a loss limit.

I change bets and try where it catches on. And if neither one nor the other works, I go somewhere else.
