Cryptocurrencies are becoming more popular in online gambling with some casinos even going crypto-only. But how relevant is this trend for you?

Do you prefer the traditional payment methods or have you already switched to crypto? Feel free to tell us more in the comments below.

I hope I do not sound like a broken record ... I think all the regulars here know I have difficulty with online casinos because I travel a lot for work and trying to do things from outside my home state of Texas can be quite challenging ... Crypto is no different. If I were home in Texas, I would probably use crypto more (not a lot, but more) because it does seem quick and convenient. However, with the traveling, it is not easy ... so I use slower methods (and at least once early on before I knew what I was really doing, paid a little extra in fees to do a bank transfer).

EDIT: just as a side note, learning to use crypto was a time consuming and wild ride for me ... I got involved because a 3D Rendering program I work with got involved with it ... I am not sure I would have bothered learning it for casino use.

I'm just starting to learn about cryptocurrencies and how they work, and there's still a lot I don't understand about digital wallets.

Sometimes I had the same feeling. This feeling usually occurs when the wallet also provides a trading platform. 🙂

Makes sense, and I think you made a good point. When a casino loses payment providers in a specific country, for example, and things go south, crypto stands out as the best solution to pay out players.

Don't trust crypto currency at all

Hmm, and can you even tell me why that is? Is it more that you don't have much information about crypto or is it something else?🙂

I use dogecoin to play, it's so easy to transfer into the casino, just cut and paste the coin unique address, it's in in minutes, same to withdraw, arrives in your crypto wallet in under 30 mins, love it.

Cool tip, thanks.

Would you say dogecoin is available in most casinos you have played at? In na any case, it's kind of interesting history this "fun" coin has. 🙂

I appreciate you giving me the chance to learn a few intriguing things about it.

(Just in case someone would like to take a look:

"Dogecoin may have started as a joke (created in 2013 as a parody of Bitcoin), but over the years it has become surprisingly widespread and still has a fairly strong community"

"Dogecoin consistently ranks among the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market cap (around $10 billion as of July 2025)"

"Supported by major exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken, so it’s easily accessible"

"Without Elon Musk’s occasional tweets, it likely would’ve faded into obscurity. This influence gives it artificial momentum" 😎)

I use dogecoin which is in my same coinspot account as bitcoin so it's quite easy to transfer between the coins, and also to the casino, so I would definitely recommend it. I have never had any problems with it, and it's super fast, usually under an hour.

Real professionals to give guidance around here? Free classes?

Hi, what specifically would you like free classes for? I don't think there are any professional players. Nobody is just going to win, and you can't make a living gambling if you play. Sooner or later, players will just throw more money at it anyway, so definitely don't go that route.

I use crypto because withdrawals are usually much faster at casinos. Deposit methods are usually limited to card or Mifinity, and cards work. Crypto is simply better these days.
