Generally speaking, when I play, I only ever use real money.

Then I always play with the default setting that the money is lost, so I see it more as a chance to win than a risk, because if everything is written off as a loss right from the start, then you can only win.

In that sense, gambling is actually a pure game of risk.

What did you find out? 😀

An interesting perspective, I never thought of it that way. So you're saying that whenever you make a deposit, you've basically already lost that money, right? 

Exactly.

I've noticed that this changes your mindset during the game, and it directly impacts the outcome. In other words, I win more often because I don't try to force it.

And if I don't win, I won't be disappointed because I expected that from the start.

If you have no expectations, you will never be disappointed, as you say. With some things, it's hard to take this approach, but if you can do it, I would say it's a pretty powerful weapon. The important thing, though, is to keep it healthy and not spend too much money, and to keep it under control. 

So I always took exactly as much with me as I was prepared to lose, and usually a maximum of €20-50.

That's a pretty good budget. If you manage to win, it could be pretty cool.
