Why do casinos set a maximum deposit amount for bonuses?

If there was no upper deposit limit for bonuses, what would a casino face? I don't think the casino would pose a threat. For example, if a player deposits 100,000 euros, he (most likely) will still not be able to meet wagering condition. Or am I wrong?

Thank you for answer.

Good question! The general knowledge is that bonuses on your first deposit in the casino is always set in a way that it actually gives huge benefit to the player. The reason is simple - every casino wants to attract you to start playing there and then they give you bonuses, but not as good as the first one (in most of cases). I actually believe that if you contact a casino manager and tell him that you're going to deposit 100 000 eur, you can get a bonus around 20%, but you'll never get 100% or even 200%.

You can even notice that some casinos say that you get up to 3000 eur bonus on your first 4 deposits. When you look at the condition closely, you'll see this:

1st deposit: 200% up to 100 eur

2nd deposit: 100% up to 300 eur

3rd deposit: 50% up to 600 eur

4th deposit: 25% up to 2000 eur

So they're generally willing to give you a big bonus, but you need to deposit 4x more.
