I think I can beat that. I recently got a $700 bonus which I thought was incredible. I managed to wager through it and then they told me "non-cashable, removed on withdrawal".

Honestly that one really annoyed me. What’s even the point then? You play through everything, think you finally actually got somewhere, and then it just disappears.

Feels like one of those things hidden somewhere in the terms that you don’t even realise until it’s too late.

I probably should’ve checked properly but at the time I just wanted to play.

A user on another forum warned about 'trap' bonuses that block withdrawals until you've wagered your entire balance. He tried to clear the requirement but ended up losing most of his original funds in the process.

usually you can't withdraw if you have active bonuses with wagers. it's written in t&c of different platforms. to prevent abuse and to get the funds rolling to the house 🙂

That's what happened to me as well. I was offered a 200% bonus but the minimum deposit was high, but I thought the bonus seems great. But then they said I can't withdraw until I wager something like 25x bonus and deposit, which is impossible to finish without losing everything.

Considering bonus wagering requirements and game RTPs, it's virtually impossible to find a casino bonus that's actually profitable for the player these days. They're a scam.

Just another form of extortion. But hey, its abit fun and addicting isn't it?

I always read the wagering requirements before claiming any bonus. A big bonus doesn't mean much if you have to wager it 50x. Sometimes a smaller bonus with fair terms is the better deal

I agree. It’s definitely always important to check the bonus terms, and not just the basic conditions shown directly with the bonus, such as the wagering requirement.

A lot of important rules can also be found in the casino’s general Terms and Conditions or bonus terms, and these are exactly the kinds of things that can later surprise players when they try to withdraw and the casino ends up confiscating their winnings.
