To claim that would be a little inaccurate. I have been playing casino for over 20 years, and I have never had money confiscated because I played with a bonus. I have always received my winnings without any problems because I followed the rules.
Unfortunately, nowadays we have all these untrustworthy casinos with ridiculous rules that operate like this. I did make a mistake by missing the 5x maximum cashout rule on the bonus, and I can live with that.
But what they did afterwards is even worse. They allowed me to keep €700, but I could only withdraw €500. Apparently, after completing the 40x wagering requirement on the €140 bonus, I was also required to wager my real-money deposit, even though that deposit had already been lost before I received the bonus.
So first I played according to the bonus terms. After completing all the wagering requirements and following the rules, they suddenly applied real-money wagering requirements as well. And on top of that, they charged a 20% withdrawal fee.
This is honestly some of the most outrageous casino behavior I have ever experienced. They are behaving like bandits. I have never experienced anything like this in over 20 years of playing, and I would never recommend this casino to anyone — not even my worst enemy.
I have filed a complaint, and I believe this deserves to be followed publicly. Let’s see how it ends. To be honest, my expectations are not very high.
It wasn't about them not giving you anything. Bonus money usually has to be wagered 35x, 40x, or even 75x before it's worth "real money." You always lose your real money if you don't win. That's all there is to it.
I prefer online casinos that are not subject to German regulation. However, that's a decision everyone has to make for themselves.
That's often the case, meaning that withdrawals of €500 per day can take 3 to 5 days, which you can avoid by withdrawing via crypto. However, you would have to deposit via crypto first. Otherwise, it's something about Know Your Player/Customer (KYC) rules, etc.
I find those fees outrageous. But I've also experienced this at German casinos.
There are also regulations that a maximum of 7000 EUR is paid out per month, and I even read something that said the account balance is reset to 0 at the end of the month.
Imagine you win 40,000 on September 28th, you might even manage to collect 7,000, but 33,000??? Just gone?
I've rarely read anything so absurd. But maybe it was translated incorrectly, or I just didn't quite grasp it. Although I can still manage to read.
